Not sure if you’ve found this out or have it but; On my Golf gtd, you can go through the menu in the car and select/deselect “mirror fold on lock” so I’ll always turn this off when washing my car, to stop the mirrors dancing :laugh: Means I can keep the keys in the pocket.

I imagine your door contol module has to be compatible for folding mirrors, have you checked this? and it also may need configured with VCDS for it to work.

Yesterday I disconnected the battery. After this my mirrors will no longer fold with a long press off the key fob. They will still fold using the door control. Can disconnecting the battery reset the changes I did in vcds? It’s puzzling me and have not had time to check yet. Thanks.

From the same thread: If it is mid 2017 onwards (ie an MY18 model) then it should do it as standard If it is mid 2017 or earlier then its probably got the Q door modules and will not work.
