Sounds like a good case for an Ablemail AMT12-2 which you would fit near the CTEC with 3 simple cables. It then trickle charges the starter battery from the leisure battery.

If you have a leisure battery you can use something like an Ablemail AMT12-2 to keep the starter battery topped up from the leisure battery. Even better if you have solar as it then becomes an everlasting supply.

SB is Exide EFB (we had a campervan from brand new). Conversion started and then the 1st lockdown and all that. Unless, the original factory battery got drained and they (convertors) had to replace it and chose the cheapest one and fitted Exide one instead?

Just connect the brown cables to the bodywork to pick up their negative connection and so that the vans battery shunt can accurately tell the ECU what state the starter battery is in. The stop/start is overridden when the battery is below par.
