...know about the DC-DC charger, perhaps the conversion company fitted something like this, I'll have to check. I have an ehu cable and intend putting the van on hook up overnight before I leave to help with topping up the leisure battery but I don't think this will help with the starterbattery.
My starterbattery (SB) is 3 months old; my leisure battery (LB) is less than 12 months old. Using a multimeter, the readings are as follows:
SB voltage with engine off: 12.85
SB voltage with engine running: 14.15
LB voltage with engine off: 12.43
LB voltage with engine running: 12.43

...I am also looking into the 'Ablemail' reverse charger.. This is to help offset the power drain I see from the BM6 attached to the starterbattery. I have a Thinkware U3000 dash cam with rear camera, Meta-Trak tracker and immobiliser. These all run from the starterbattery as a 24hr...

...I guess connect that directly to the leisure battery, then when the leisure battery is full the renogy will divert current to the starterbattery? Or will a lifepo4 charger shut off once the lithium battery is full?

...sockets etc.
I see most people mount the battery under the drivers seat.
Is there a main reason for this?
We’ve got a captain seat up front, and I’m looking at the possible routings for cabling. The simplest route from the starterbattery would appear to place under the passenger seat?
Thanks!
The Victron DC-DC has just one job - charge the leisure battery from the starterbattery/alternator.
The Ablemail AMT12-2 takes a small amount of charge from the leisure battery (either constantly or only when it's receiving a charge from solar) to keep the starterbattery topped up and at a...

...found that the two sockets in the cab are fed from the leisure battery. This means that with a T6.1 you’ll have to connect to the starterbattery under the bonnet or pick up the feed to the Split Charge Relay under the passenger seat.
