I really like the look of these as an off the shelf plug and play option, but it looks like they’re still some way off with the site saying Pre order and delivery times of 120-150 days. The styling is spot on too. I wonder if they’re LED bulbs behind a projector, or a proper LED chip projector...

What are the chances of both bulbs failing at the same time? I’d be looking somewhere else first. Wiring/fuses etc. I’ve had those Twenty 20 fitted for quite a while no issues and I know a few other people on here use them also. No one has previously mentioned a failure as far as I’m aware.

Am I right to assume you have to change the entire light unit to upgrade to the h7? I’m a bit of a newbie to all this!

I have the Philips GT200 as an upgrade H4 bulb and it’s good enough for me. I sold a Citroen Xantia back in the day just because the headlights were so bad - that’s how fussy I am. You can buy Philips LED upgrades now but despite them lobbying for years they still aren’t classed as road legal...

Has the bulb warning dash light been switched off by VCDS. Some people, including me, have done this when fitting LED DRL bulbs in H7 units following upgrade from H4's.

Just for info. Actually this problem was solved by VCDS 23.3 (My previous version was only until Byte 23). In Byte 27 - bit 0 I ticked the box "Licence plate bulbs LED" and then all 5 errors disappeared from BCM memory and its still clear.

OEM LED or aftermarket LED projectors retrofit in either H4 or H7.

or get Canbus compatible LED's, I ran the ones from travelinlite in my DRL on my old H4's and they worked no issues.

@t6b Mine has gone through three MOTs with the Novisight H4 Led lamps one of which at the local Vindis dealer. I don't know why some owners get all religious about not fitting Led lamps when they're probably likely to crash into something they couldn't see using the lousy stock halogen efforts...

Road Legal LED lights aren't that common or cheap though so if you have them on the one you buy already that's an advantage. The H4 standard halogen are infamously bad. I do long trips in the 6.1 Caravelle and I wouldn't be without the ACC. Certainly on mine you can see the engine consumption...

No the H4 bulb is only for the dip/main beam The DRL is a H11 I believe. You can swap this bulb to LED but to be honest its only for aesthetics as DRL's don't add anything significant to the light output at night. Upgrading the main/dip H4 bulb will make a small difference but don't expect...
