    Another failed flexible solar panel

That’s what I was thinking … the £425 is just the labour cost for fitting the warranty replacement using the existing MPPT. The higher cost would include the value of the larger solar panel. Seems a lot extra when the cost off the panels is compared. The wiring and MPPT would be essentially...

[Resolved] Renogy problem - BMS drift, 100%-0%-100%

Having said I don’t catch it charging from the alternator, given max charge power is 438 W it must have done, since my solar panel is only 100W!

CTEK D250 SE and solar panel.

...MPPT charger, the Victron ones are a popular choice on the forum and are not that expensive for a 10A or 15A version. I recently got the Renogy 100w foldable and that is rated as 24.3v OCV, again too high for the CTEK. I know others have used the Dokio panels and they are not bad, good...

    [Guide] Mobile Solar Panels ? . . . - How I Did It -

Suitcase style will be too bulky and large to fit on dash. Look at either a fold up 100w that will fit on the dash. Or . 100w or so flat flexible panel placed on roof with magnets. .. More panel means larger size. Efficientcy is around 18-22% so much the much.(unless you look at the new...

First time help with ecoflow setup

Thank you for the clarification. Could you read from the unit what the input Watts were? Because if your unit allows up to 15A (as stated for my Delta 2) then I would have expected more than 100W at 12-14v.

    Upgrade to 200W solar panel.

Fwiw.. . You can get a second 100w panel , then add that to get 200w. It's recommended that both (or more) be the same make and model. ... You could also fit any mobile panel with a seperate controller to run alongside your existing 100w roof panel. ...

    Portable Solar panel confusion

The Dokio kits are fine... I've tested the 100w and 200w kits and found them too be a good starter kit. The only issue was a lack of main fuse.... Which is super easy to add yourself. (Just cut the red wire a few inches from the clamp and splice in a 15A fuse like above). Checkout the solar...

I've not tested this specific one , but its an example: 100w fold panel, with PWM controller. the battery clips will need a fuse adding. or add your own 12v plug to back feed via a 12v socket. https://amzn.to/3S1NocR

    Basic solar panel

...the corrected figures will let you run your own numbers. What may matter more than absolute panel size is how are you going to use them. A 100w with 12 hours of good sunshine is likely to work but if you are at LeMans if you have a portable panel is someone going to stay with the van for 12...

Getting ready for winter. -- --

...my van freezing up in winter I have a couple of space/greenhouse heaters which I have mounted on wooden bases, 1 is 2 ft & 200w the other 1 ft 100w. I have a hookup cable on the driveway and when it gets a bit chilly switch on the small one. Frosty nights the larger one and seriously cold...

Need some help with Solar issue

Yes definitely. If you can, plug it in now - you might only see 1v but that would be enough to confirm the MPPT is ok. Obviously the battery won't charge at that.
