Put the battery back in the van
Managed to get my 2 x 100w solar panels wired to feed my Renogy dc-dc . Ran diesel heater to drawn down on battery.
Good to see then the DC-DC starting to top up battery then after 1.5 hours or so,indicating full charge (green...
so, thoughts?
Order of priority?
Solar onto sca rails (100w initially but modular ability to upgrade to 200) maxing out budget
Vs
Swapping leisure for lifepo and dc to dc
Both dependent on finding someone to install (the age old full carpet interior rearing it’s head again (as per prev...
Just dropped them a line to give me a price to change my 100w roof panel to 200w or greater. Soon have my Lithium battery bulging with all that extra power.
Technically it was the weekend, but added 100w of solar and a sharkfin DAB/GPS aerial...
Plus a sub woofer (Amazon) heated seat elements (eBay) and a bit more sound proofing while I had the floor mats up.
...is in the shed already and you want to plug the Jackery panel into it?
I think it's this one?
https://uk.jackery.com/products/solarsaga-100w-solar-panel
That lists the Jackery connector as DC7909 - that means it's the DC power jack series 7.9mm diameter outer 0.9mm inner.
That should find...
...single battery in the Caravelle. I also used it with my 5A CTEK to camp forma long weekend over the summer and keep the lights and fridge going.

I have a 100w panel and Victron MPPT to try and make a solar version...
assuming one? , if that, per 100w panel?
so for a 150w id look at two tubes.?
or double sided 3m,
or 3m HD Velcro.
+++++++
got some pics of the old one?
you sticking new one over? or removing old one?
you used vinyl wrap to make removing easier?
Hi all,
The time has come to fit my solar, however I have a quick question if someone can help me work out the polarity of a Renogy Flexible 100w monocrystalline panel solar leads (MC4 connectors). Unfortunately download spec sheet doesn't shed any light, and without a multi-meter to hand Id...
Well I managed to snag a Renogy 100w panel for £65 so I did some experimenting over on my tinkering thread - I'm now quite impressed by the fridge and the panel and if you have both the battery makes even more sense...
...makes sense. (For my own understanding tho, what about the 'output' numbers: do they suggest 42v times 2a = 84w output ? Or is it a case of 100w in and only 84w out cos it's '84% efficient' ?)
Obviously nervous about e-bike chargers generally after all the news items but it's supposedly a...
...start of the charge cycle.
once the unit is pulling power the 5v doesn't apply so much, and the panel voltage can be dropped - ie cloud cover.
100w panel would normally be in the 18-22v range. - so again normal.
..........
I've got a couple of 100/20`s and they work great.
so see if you...
Not bought today. Ordered EcoflowSolar charging cable from Hampshire Generators 4 weeks ago, and finally delivered yesterday. Today, charging my Ecoflow Delta2 from my Allpowers 100w solar panel.
You need a fuse on the battery connection.
But not on the panel.
A 10A fuse is normal per 100w
Most mobile kits will have a blade fuse holder near the battery connection.
Hi all.
Just looking to purchase a Flexi solar panel from eBay for my renogy 50 dc to dc , apparently mine is a new version, which supports better solar input.
Can anyone suggest if there will be an issue with me fitting the 200w panel
