Sounds like a DPF regeneration to me. It must have been in full swing when you stopped. They do it every 200 miles.

I’ve read it’s only the CFCA engine with EGR issues - was the remapping done as a precautionary measure?

Checked it last week and couldnt see any splits.

I’ve just clicked over 90k had it from 30k with no issues aside from an EGR split pipe. Now I’ve got an adblue issue, possible egr cooler or charge cooler (not got as far as to check them yet) so wanted to rule out the head / block before I spend money… it’ll be costly whichever it turns out to...

You only hear the horror stories. No one goes on the ‘tinternet to tell people about the problems they’re not having. If you want to get a feel of the potential problems, have a search of the forum.

I have purchased a used 204 DSG 66 plate, registered Feb 2017 T6, with 92k miles. I’ve since done 13k miles in it, so she’s on 105k now. A new EGR was fitted June 23, and as far I can see, that’s all it’s had done. I purchased it Aug 23. It uses around 1L of oil every 2000 miles, by comparison...

I’ve haven’t heard of it being an issue with a CFCA, I’ve got approx’ 56K miles on mine without issues. Possibly because there may be less vibration than other engines due to the balancer shafts. If you’ve had an engine rebuild the leakage could be elsewhere, best find it sooner than later.

I had p0401 and 80407 it’s said restricted flow would clear but came bk pending the little actuator arm was seized solid some one plugged it in January time and they was Egr fault them so cleard it been all right till a few weeks ago management light came on cleard but soon as you did 15miles it...

Mine looked like that and had gone. I was also getting the ‘low flow’ error on the EGR. New one has stayed clean. :thumbsup:

Don't know about your oil leak but top pic - egr pipe looks to be well split to my old eyes.
