Hi Have started this and come across a hiccup - I think this is the DAB aerial can I cut and bullet this or is it not that easy - halfway so any advice appreciated

I started using TuneIn Radio app when my DAB started playing up. Never lose the tunes any more.

Thanks @roadtripper looks like I’m going to have to replace the OE one and look at suitable alternatives for DAB and GPS Van will probably end up looking like a mobile radio station!

I’ve just got a silicon blob and a couple of marks off mine with turps. Make sure you try a dab on somewhere that’s hidden. Only took a bit of dabbing and the marks came off then I washed immediately with warm soapy water.

Hi I’ve just fitted led fog light bulbs with resistor pack on my 2017 t6, but I have now knoticed when they come on with cornering lights of switched on dab signal drops out once they have gone off signal back has anyone come across this or a fix as I prefer them to match led headlights

This was my thinking - DAB tends to be more sensitive so if that is fine and AM/FM not then more likely a screening issue. Not based on any specific T6/6.1 knowledge just experience as general geek.

Hi I had a screen mounted DAB aerial but had a heated front screen fitted and a new screen mounted aerial but it doesn’t work. Because I fitted T6.1 folding mirrors it has a dab and gps aerial in the DS mirror. Do I need a make or female Fakra connector for my extension cable ?

I’m not sure this is 100% but some of the t6.1 aerials are not shielded correctly , manufactured from another company. We supply many 5.600s and only seen this once so far

Hi all - I am struggling trying to remove my kenwood 9019 dabs, I’ve removed it before with no issues but now it won’t budge? I am sliding the keys to the inside of the metal claps? Is that right? Any help appreciated.

Replaced my LHS H7 replacement headlight with no scratches, with a second H7 replacement, complete with scratches. At least the DRL works! Dab hand at removing headlights without full bumper removal now :grin bounce: Set of old H7s available for spares/repair :thumbsup:

Had my recall a couple of days ago and noticed the DAB reception has noticeably worsened. Is this my imagination or is there something that's been affected by having the door trim off and whatever's done to correct the door lock problem? TIA

The radio is the oem head unit the monochrome DAB unit

The DAB aerial is in the drivers door mirror so that won't have been touched at all.. The thing on the roof is the SOS system.

Steve probably knows the OEM colour dabs on the springs to suit your vehicle!

I have removed the original VW satnav/DAB Radio to fit a new one; all works except the touchscreen needs replacing which I believe can be done. The T6 which it was taken from is a 2018 model. OFFERS?
