Solved! Turns out it definitley was coming from my phone after all .
It was the tracker app I have installed, notifying me that the van has left the geo-fence zone. Thing is, I'd been on to Streetwize (supplier of the tracker) when I first installed it, because I couldn't get the...
In a similar vein, a neighbour's car got nicked from their drive yesterday at 18:30 - I caught the scrote on my doorbell camera simply stroll up their front door, open it and take the keys off a side table
I am of course now worried for the van and looking at trackers / immobilizers!
So annoyed that I paid up front I don’t know they will try and say it working I wouldn’t know and they charge me £93 more and that’s assuming the replacement tracker works too?
...in it, especially damaging in a starter type battery as it needs a large set of tightly packed plates to generate the Cold Cranking Amps.
A tracker and dash cam even in parking mode is probably drawing about 0.5 amp so will use 12Ah of capacity every day. With a minimal 75Ah starter you'll...
Went with A-Plan (now Howden) no worries insuring my camper as only vehicle although they did ask for a tracker to be installed. Think I paid around £520 back in April. Expecting that to go up to around £700 given other comments on the forum.

I know that a normal car thief would pull all of the panels and find a simple tracker. I know that the company may well have people on here looking as they know I come here for advice.

post some pics of the starter battery and leisure battery. . .
is this a new issue?
or has it always been like it?
the dash cam and tracker are prime candidates for draining starter batterys. - maybe look at moving them over to the LB.?
...sure you plug it in to a 12 socket connected to your starter (if you have factory fit second battery) if you are using that method.
How long is the van not moving? You should be fine with 1-2 weeks so long as it gets a decent drive around about that frequency, unless you have things like...
Try Caravanguard and be honest. May need a tracker etc. just give them a call. They do understand. They were ace with me on a total loss not fault for claim.
Yeah you would think it would be fairly safe parked up in broad day light in whilst you have dinner apparently not!
Would advise getting immobiliser and tracker really wish I’d got round to that!!
Is this just the starter battery?
Have you got any leisure electrics?
The starter battery should last at least 2-4 weeks, even with the tracker etc.
The start battery may be on its way out and not holding a proper charge?
..
