I can only offer my experience with the waterproof ones, however I would have thought they were made from the same pattern/shape as the seats are the same so hopefully the below is some help.
I found the easiest way to fit them was to remove the seat (4 bolts/ nuts) from the seat base. Put...
Hi All
So firstly I know there has been a similar thread regarding what I'm about to cover but it did not really come to any conclusion.
I have bought a very good condition 2016 T6 150HP 6 speed which is fitted with the CXFA engine that has the balance shafts but the van is high mileage and...
...too tight to pay the grossly inflated prices that VW demand for such things! There are loads of cheap ones on eBay and the like but I've never found any sets of silver ones in 19mm that have 4 locking wheel nutcovers (ie. like the set off black ones that I currently have and which cost £4.95!).
VW T6 18" diamond cut alloys for sale, genuine VW with Continental tyres (4-7mm). good condition with some blemishes (as photos) complete with spacers, bolts/locking nut and covers. £700 ono
Thanks, jeez £3.99 for a tiny bit of plastic.
I dont suppose you can the little plastic cover that goes over the nut that holds the wipers on. Mine of mine disappeared into the engine bay, never to reappear.
Recently had a MOT and service as the first part of my two year extended warranty for my T6 18 plate. Before it went in it was having the stability control, ABS and tyre pressures come on intermittently but wasn't there for the MOT and wasn't there a month beforehand. Anyway, it passed and was...
How is the part attached to the roof attached? I see plastic nutcovers.. Do the bolts go all the way through the roof? Or is there metalwork embedded in the roof thickness that the catch bolts into? How much pressure/tension can be put on those bolts before they pull out/through the roof?
Looking on Amazon for this unit, it’s 2 or 3 time’s the price of many of the other options (it’s advertised at £26.21). Was there a reason you chose this one over the others? I think there may be a few of us who pick one up if we’re going to soundproof the scuttle panel. Thanks
I did get as far as unscrewing the first hinge to her door a while back and swmbo disagreed with my actions so strongly I was not allowed to continue!
In all fairness to swmbo, it did rev everyone up a bit and in hindsight wasn't done in the most controlled circumstances! :fast rofl:
Most of the needed parts are listed there
Please look at the photos i uploaded too.
Try to collect all the parts from these links. If something is not clear, let me know.
Some bolts i selected longer ones, some bolts with thicker washers.

You may have the tire pressure sensors in your old valves. Or tap the "standard" button Generally you just need to press the tyre pressure reset button/option. It will ask you to confirm they're correctly set and will then clear at new tyre pressure
Some toe-rag nicked my wheel nutcovers, but only on the O/S front, which is exposed to the pavement.
Set of 20 generic covers arrived, so put 5 on so he can nick them again.
