LWB 4th row seat belts

Thank you- much appreciated

Do your car have rear A/C Blower or you plan to install it ?
Do you plan to install Caravelle (it's called Shuttle in UK) interior covers with seatbelt cutouts on the D (rear) pilars.
And rear side covers?
There is different seatbelt mounts related of that.

My car has a built in rear blower and has already the panels as it is a transporter shuttle.

Please see a picture of the base only which I had as my wife has it at present so I can't take further pictures.

Perfect, then it's like mine. Under the car at the floor there should be already predefined holes (can be used as guides) and reinforcements for the 4th row seat mounts.
Need to take off the spare tyre, and plastic cover first to see them.

For other two nearer to front side holes another cover. i measured these two from the cabin, because didn't wanted to take off extra underside parts.

Need to drill a holes at the center of them (first punch a center point, i put there a small washer first, it helps to hit a center more precise). then i drilled them 12mm. i believe, bolt size where 10mm. I started with smaller drill bit, if needed hole can be fixed/centered with a (rat tail file). And then finished with a (step drill bit).
Later will share photos.

For the 4th row, a triple seat with a right side cutout is required.
Your curent seat from 3rd row will not fit there (because of the rear blower cover).
i think, i mentioned it before.

I am a bit confused as you can see from the attachment someone has installed the rear bench as normal without a cut out. I attach now 3 files one of my car, both sides and one from a previous chat.

Please check them out.

Please look at the 4th row triple seat - right side corner, there is this round cut out.

i just wanted to tell, that your existing seat from 3rd row will not fit in 4th row.
Because Blower is in the way.

Maybe you plan to get another triple seat, then just need to look for one with this cutout.

I see it now but I think this would be very difficult to find especially in pandu trim. Is there any other option?

i got mine within the same fabric, but it would not be a deal breaker and is not important for me..

Some examples

Thank you very much. I actually think that the second one is the same fabric. Now just have to find a way to get it to London!!

Most of the needed parts are listed there

Please look at the photos i uploaded too.
Try to collect all the parts from these links. If something is not clear, let me know.
Some bolts i selected longer ones, some bolts with thicker washers.

There is error with a part 41. it is actually a part Nr30 - second number
So need both parts Nr30 from this:

For the 4th row, Caravelle/Shutlle don't need anythng from these:

D pillar covers with seatbelt cutouts i got from oemvwshop com, need to search T5 part number, it will cost noticeably less, but its the same part.. with a nice fabric:

4th row seatbelts should be these, need to buy several bolts for them from the catalog.
7H9857816L RAA
7H9857815L RAA
When choosing a bolts for these seatbelts, there is two options, bolts should be in black, with a shorter spacer.

Always triple check position of any bracket, before welding.
For example hold/tape/glue the bracket in possible location, try to put the trim on, mark where the bracket should be.

Chair bracket bolts Torque 55Nm
WHT003219 x 8
7H0883873F x 4
7H0883087A 9B9 x 4
These are usually available used, as a set.

Most of the seatbelt bolts Torque 40Nm

Wow
Thank you so much. Will study later
It's quite a big job!

For your car it will be easer. No need to remove headliner. My car didn't had a handles, that's why it was more complicated.

In your case, just need to drill a holes for these 4x seat brackets.
As i mentioned, looking from under the car, there are these predefined holes in place, just need to drill a center of them. i did a 12mm, some manuals sugest 12-14mm.

Need to compres these 4 rivet nuts in place, that holds the left side seatbelt bracket, i made a custom tool, but its better to order such tool most likely.

Need to weld these 3 brackets in place.

Everything else is just to bolt things together.

in UK, there should be options who can do the job, on youtube there are several videos. Most of them adding 3rd row. Most of them from UK..

For my car, i did all the measurements and put it together myself, except the welding.

Later i can help to make a parts list for Your car.

if you have a vision - just go for it!
it's nice to have a 4th row.

Thanks again for all your recommendations and look forward to a parts list which would be extremely helpful. Very much appreciated.
