Does any one have the exact parts list to replace the black bumpers on my ex RAC T6 startline and replace with the sporty looking colour coded ones. This is a bit lazy of me but I’m assuming loads of guys here have already done this and wouldn’t mind sharing the list. Cheers guys

    Removing speed limiter with Obdeleven

it possible to remove the speed limiter from an ex RAC T6 (2018) with Obdeleven? If so, can somebody please explain how? I am not brand new to this kind of thing, just very rusty. Until 2011 I ran my own mobile mechanic business and had VAG-COM which I used regularly to code equipment. I still...

    Buying first transporter!

Startline spec will give you the non-painted bumpers, in the UK we see a lot of ex-AA/RAC vans with Startline spec but with air conditioning and the 150ps engine (they lug around a lot of parts). Weight limits also are a factor, for a simple conversion a T28 works but T30 lets you at least relax...

...Hebrides, campin off grid for a couple of days for two adults and a little one. Episode 1- Pick up We picked up the van in May 2022 as an ex RAC van. It was alongside around 30 others so it was simply a case of picking one with the dents we liked It‘s a 150hp, 6 speed T32. In terms of...

Advice on filling in holes on roof

Hi, We've recently bought an ex RAC T6 and are slowly starting to convert it. We are doing some of the labour intensive work, like stripping it out and applying insulation, while a local company does some of the more skilled work. With it being an ex RAC van there are several holes in the roof...

...harsh but I totally understand it's probably not top notch but I've seen a hell of a lot worse. Towing electrics ex RAC

This is ex-RAC and not their split charge. It's their jump-start setup. So it goes from the top of the battery with a mega fuse straight after, and there are no worries about access. When I do the interior, I'll no doubt add a smaller fuse and kill switch before the intelligent dc-dc charger.

Lithium Battery Ah for electric hob

loads of info on the forum if you use the search function. In a nutshell, using battery power to cook on is expensive/complicated/space consuming. To do any meaningful cooking you will need an absolute minimum of 200Ah of lithium + corresponding solar/mains/B2B chargers. Gas is cheaper, more...

Lithium Battery Ah for electric hob

If you want a double induction hob, you're looking at 1600-1800w so you'd need a 2000w inverter, and for that you'd need a battery capable of a 200a dicharge rate, which means a 200Ah battery. You'll need to look at either of the seatbase 230Ah battery options from Fogstar or Roamer.
