    Damp around sliding door seals?

I am sure I have see this discussion before here on the forum. If I remember correctly water ingress on the slider is quite common. Coming in from the rear latch area. Or from the leaky window, water dripping through the slider panel to the bottom resulting in damp in the area you have...

...clips. Just hold the plug, twist it about an eighth of a turn anti-clockwise and pull it out. Unplug the wire connection from the old bulb and connect it to the new one. Top tip. Put a smear of vaseline on the rubber seal to prevent water ingress which will lead to condensation inside the...

...tempted to put a replacement boot handle on it, if you haven't already.. Quick check of the connector terminals with it all apart for water ingress / corrosion. It will only activate the switch when unlocked as the wiring is controlled by the body control unit, so doesn't operate the handle...

Leaking Kombi side window – new seals?

...end purge the circular drain holes until they are clear. Then, carefully replace the sliding window. If you park the van nose down any water ingress will allow the drain holes to do their job. Nose up defies physics as water doesn't travel uphill. It also helps if you never open the...

    Headlight Lens Swap

I was thinking of heating the lens off of a halogen headlight to stick back onto a LED headlight that has a damaged lens? I had a search about for someone doing something similar but came up with nothing.

    Roof rails - are T6 & T6.1 identical?

You might also want to have a read through this thread as mounting rails can lead to water ingress - not everyone's mounting kit works well but there are a few ways of improving things: https://www.t6forum.com/threads/roof-rail-leak-free-fixing.6121/

New feature - handbrake activated right indicator!

Get somebody outside to use a hose while you watch inside, don’t spray all over, gradually move around the van and that should narrow down the entry point.

T6.1 Sportline black edition - release date

Spoke to my neighbour who does PPF and wrapping etc and said it’s not worth it because even if you get a stonechip it will pierce it and then get water ingress underneath. Everyone has an opinion though.

New feature - handbrake activated right indicator!

was it raining by chance? have you recently had a windscreen replacement? any water ingress in the drivers footwell area? just thinking out loud, but I cant see how the 2 circuits would be wired near each other, so id suspect the only point their signals will converge would be at the Body...

    Roof rails - are T6 & T6.1 identical?

Yep those are the standard roof bolts. Have a good read of the linked thread to understand the water ingress risk. I used a variation on it to mount my awning rail. You might be happy with the mounting in the rail system you choose, but at least when you know the risk you can have a good look...

    Water leak in tailgate

Fortunately I haven't detected any water ingress in the tailgate myself. However, it did occur to me could the water be entering through the numberplate fixings when open in the rain. The contour of the panel would mean water would soon pool and if inadequately sealed allow water to ingress over...
