My 6.1 pipe is wrapped in cloth tape and I’ve had it from new so it’s a factory thing.

Colour coded for us, a gloss black roof on a car looks good but the wrap ends at the shoulders of the car whereas a poptop wraps over the shoulders so the edge of colour isn't hidden... Everybody is different though! :)

Does it always happen on tinted or wrapped glass? All the examples seem to be dark coloured.

I used Sticks like sh1t to bond my brackets to matt black wrap. I cleaned the wrapped surface with panel wipe first.

Fingers crossed it doesn't affect adhesion of the wrap!

I've worked with 3m wrap before, by far the best in my opinion. A sharp craft knife to run along the edge, heat the wrap gently and its all done

Spiral armour wrap up the wiring, fit a gate to keep them out, put it in the garage, whatever is available that suits your circumstances.

Had mine wrapped £500……..once I’d managed to find someone who would do it.

Having had only 3 enquiries and one tyre kicker I decided to remove half of the wrap. Removing the white wrap would have meant needing to have the wheels repainted and I’m not made of money. So she now looks like the photos below. The price is also now reduced to £25,495.

I think wrapping is better than not wrapping but adds another layer of complexity (pardon the pun). I'm tempted to put a new panel on top of the old one. Not the best but it will still work. Won't it ...

Nice van that. Have you thought about removing the wrap? Not saying I don't like it but it might turn some off.

I reckon a wrap as if like some of us you've got Flexi panels on a poptop roof painting around these will leave parts of the roof unpainted and taking the solar off to paint the whole roof opens another can of worms. In my case a shiny chestnut brown metallic vinyl wrap would be great.:thumbsup:

Yeah use them all the time and they have been fine. Just wrap the face well.

What was the outcome of these retrofits, did you get everything wrapped up ok in the end ?
