So if I go halo will it or can I activate all the vehicle setting, tyre pressure etc, the factory fitted unit is so basic it's like something from the 90s, I'm really fed up I changed from a good spec Kombi to a panel van also with a good spec but no nav, thought it would be a simple upgrade

    Tyre Pressures 255/45/18

Hi folks. I have a camper conversion T6.1. Came with standard 16" wheels but I switched to 18" about six months ago. It's not lowered and on standard suspension too. New wheels came with Hankook Ventus Prime 2 tyres, 255/45 R18 103H tyres. I just checked my pressures ahead of a big road...

    All-Season Tyre recommendations

It's unlikely to be noticeable. In reality, the load rating scale is not a linear representation of harshness. No doubt it will affect the ride and a very high rated tyre will be stiffer. However, being one or two points higher than needed won't make a difference. If you are considering higher...

    20’s any regrets?

I have a theory that before I bought the van it was sitting in the forecourt for too long on too low pressures… it seems to be the original tyres that were on it when bought that are failing.

    Team Banded Brothers.

Any takers on what the general consensus is on tyre pressures for banded wheels? Cheers Lee

    20” alloys - how’s the ride?

You’ve already sorted the suspension. The ride on 20’s will be great! Just get the tyre pressure right. I’ve used 17,18,19 & 20 on my van. I’m currently on Navis twin with 255/35/20 tyres. My advice is keep the tyre diameter as close to original size as possible.

    Devonport tyre pressure?

...for me about 5 months back and to be honest was hoping for slightly more significant improvement in ride and wondered if there is any advantage in reducing tyre pressures but as other have said is there then a trade off with tyre wear and possibly even insurance issues in the event of an...

All terrain tyres - recommendations and pictures

There is a lot of discussion on tyre pressures here  Maybe this needs a thread of its own? Just try it and see how it feels maybe!

    Tyre Pressure 275/40/19

...12k miles and still have over 5m left, evenly worn. I’ve just come across your post after reading thru all the many pages of the 20” tyre pressure thread. I wonder whether Oli @BognorMotors or Steve @CRS Performance might have some sage advice for us rare nineteeners? Thanking you in...

    T32 DSG 4Mo Staggered 20” Tyre Pressures??

Thanks. That what I was thinking. Not sure why new tyre place put 57PSI in the front! Just had shocks and springs done at CRS Performance - Koni's and Evo springs - much better than before

    TPMS on T6

...the rotation of the wheel via the abs sensor to measure the radius. If a wheel is spinning faster that it expects to see due being a smaller radius, thanks to a low pressure in the tyre, it throws an alert. So when you fit the new wheels, re set the tyre pressures in the MFD and you'll be...

    MFD MPG Lies

I have compared the odometer with GPS tracks and the difference is less than 2% The fuel volume will be calculated from the duration of each injection event, the common rail fuel pressure and temperature, so possible factors could be sticky, clogged or leaky injectors or faulty fuel pressure or...

Tyre Warning light with Duchy wheels how do I fix

If the reset doesn't last then it points to a problem, either with the tyre losing pressure due to a puncture or a leak in the banded wheel itself, or with the ABS sensor, or the wiring for that sensor, because yes, it's the ABS sensor that is used to inform you of a loss of pressure. I assume...

    20” Tyre Pressure

Yeah totally agree. I checked mine and was at 47 or something stupid. So dropped it to 40 and loads better.

    Ravenna T28 Project

Currently sitting on 275/40/20 wheels and tyres (which are nearly dead) plan to wear these out and get some new better rubber for the winter but dropping to 265 wide. Also dropper pressures to 38psi all round and works really well. Last pic os before and after

    All-Season Tyre recommendations

Thanks, my new 4 motion is running the standard davenport set up, 215/60/17 conti van contract tyres, just what a nicer wheel / tyre set that doesn't look to over sized, and I don’t want to make my set up much harder than it already is.

Sold Devonport’s on Goodyear Vector 2 All Season + TPMS.

I’m sure I have read somewhere on here it can be retrofitted. Of course you need to start with the tpms in the wheels.

T6.1 Tyre Pressure Monitoring System Activation (Indirect TPMS)

...no pressure measurement is taken from the tyres Direct TPMS - This uses a sensor inside each wheel to directly measure the current tyre pressure and temperature and displays these values inside the vehicle, a drop in pressure in any wheel/s will trigger an alert on the instrument cluster and...
