That’s not a factory size tyre. I would go with the factory pressure for the 255/45 or 235/50 and then have a play from there +/- 2psi to see what works for you and feels best. .

Excellent point. My van is fully converted so probably explains why 40psi feels much better. It’s so noticeable I can tell when the tyres need topping up.

Hi @Pauly the tyre pressure option is still on the mfd display. Haven’t had the van out since or tried to store the tyre pressures. Will try it when next out and report back.

I’ve found the tyre pressure makes a huge difference. 40psi improves the ride dramatically.

Another tyre pressure question… Van is a T6 T32 Kombi, 2WD, 200hp with DSG. OEM tyres are awful 215/60 R17C 104/102 (commercial tyres). VW recommended pressures are 57/48 psi F/R unladen and 58/58 psi laden. I can’t find a load/pressure chart for these commercial tyres but the narrow pressure...

Mine is also a 21 plate highline and had not TPMS as it was an option when new. I have switched passive on using vcds though.

Assuming your wheels aren't fitted with pressure sensors, are all the tyre treads on each axle roughly the same? I've seen people fit only one new tyre and once the vehicle gets up to the higher speeds, it triggers the light due to picking up the difference in diameter between new and worn tyre
