Fault code 15898 [Resolved] Fuel Temp Sensor wiring

Same fault code, same broken cable. Charge cooler was changed a couple of weeks ago so I guess it was due to slight change in cable / pipe routing when that was done. Love this forum - saved me hours of stress.

Battery Charging - Main Battery Chassis Point -

On the downside I think the arrangement on mine puts more stress on the LIN cable to the shunt, I keep meaning to try and find better routing for that. I'd also love to have the full partition and lid for the battery area, even with a high end 6.1 there is the miserly minimum on mine.

Electrical nightmare - RHS - speed sensor - SOLVED

Well, at least that narrowed down the area a bit. Unfortunately there's no more connectors en route to the sensor so can't do any midway checks at least without interfering with the wiring. Since you have the seat removed I would inspect the red square area in below image (under the seat up to...

Hi Guys Got a bit a bit of a problem with my T6 Kombi and a bit lost as to what to try/check next. I'll give you the full story in case there is something obvious that i have done to cause this issue. Couple of years ago I put silent coat down over the rear floor of the van along with the...

    Review: AbsoluT5 Audio

Review of Absolut5 @Absolut5 Arrived at Absolut5 to enquire about a new head unit on way home from elsewhere, instantly Noel and Jason went out their way to check a few things on van coding (for free may I add) that I was having issues with. During this Noel pointed out my original VW battery...

T6.1 Alpine 16.5cm Speaker Set with Sub & Amp

A world beyond the stock speakers. To be totally honest I also had a sub fitted (also for sale here) so would be difficult for me to comment on speakers alone, but they're a very popular replacement over the stock for the price. I'm sure many on here will just have the speakers fitted and can...

Fixing solar panel cables to underside of Reimo roof

Sorry mate, I've moved the van on. I ran them on the underside of the roof fixing them with electrical cable tie mounts (on sikaflex- I removed the self adhesive tape) and cable ties and then ran them in the spare grommet on the right side of the shut line (I had rear doors). I had to drill...

    T6.1 Fusebox SC access?

I got the part number for the terminal from a previous post. I had no luck finding what the part numbers are for box type terminals. I've given up buying the wrong terminals now and just going down the piggyback route. Got it wired in today, cables routed and tidied up. Tested the looms and they...

    Help with Kenwood 8021DABS fitting

Ok, three questions from your photos 1. Where did you route the mic? 2. Do you have a MFSW as I don't have that cable that is next to MIC? 3. Where did you route the USB-C cable? In the below YouTube, the guy calls it the yellow "media cable" at 6.08

@Oceanis very tidy solution. Interested to see the parts list and that internal cable route through the pop top.

    Shunt/battery control module part-no

It does seem odd that it's always the LIN wire, you'd think it would be others with similar routing or from the same supply chain.

    Shunt/battery control module part-no

Poor routing and or both I guess. It seems I’m not the only one, and broken / worn wires are common on the T6 as they age. I’m not surprised to be honest, there are a lot of exposed wires and those that are in the conduits are routed in such a way they are pulled very tightly in many directors...

    Hillside Birchover

found the void near shelf, thanks for that info!! I have also received 2core cable as directed to. Can I ask though. Cable is mighty (appears reinforced around the two cables with wire. Will this work? Do I need a heavy duty wire stripping tool to cut this? Did I order the wrong wire for...

Cable routing from rear to front - Solar panel

Hello, I just installed the sonal panels in the roof and now I need to connect the cables to the leisure battery. However it is not clear how to run the cable from rear to the front. I have route the cables from the roof into the van like the following picture. So the cables are in the 'wheel...

    Hillside Birchover

One of my picture from the thread linked above shows the cable from where it comes inside the velcro, going through a hole into the void behind the rear central shelf (where I have the shading diode). From here it's is simply routed behind the cabinets to the void behind the panel in the wardrobe.

@Davenjo will hopefully be able to confirm, but after following the routing of the cable as per the link then yes I would say so.
