Both identical, measurements 1320mm x 1200mm x 70mm. Only on for 8 months then changed to something else. Very solid construction. Just need a clean. £180 for the pair. Collection from M41
...the torque value for bolts 21,22,23 in your attachment. I've just done timing belt kit replacement and fond two contradicting values for those bolts, one of which is 40nm+180° and I feel uneasy to apply such a force for the bolts that going into an engine block without confirmation. Kind regards.
I've bought a 2017 Sportline. It's a 180, dsg which is Euro6b, start stop but has no adblue. Shouldn't it have adblue?
I've spent quit a bit of time searching the Internet and can't work it out.
Anyone got any ideas?
...This is implied by VW recommending these bolts are replaced each time that are used and by defining the 'tension' setting as a torque (of 180 Nm) plus 45 degrees of rotation (0.2mm stretch).
To achieve a bolt stress of 100+% of yield in M16 x1.5mm pitch Grade 10.9 bolts could take a torque...
I need to ask what is potentially a daft question, I have an LPS II 3000 just plonked in the back of the van, it's connected to 180 watt solar panel, the battery is 98%. What happens to the excess production from the panel, heat perhaps. I'm wondering if I should plug something in to protect the...
Yeah it’s in good condition, I did advertise it on the forum a week or so ago, and pictures on there, I’m just outside wetherby West Yorkshire at the side of the A1 , advertised at £180 but I’ll take £150,
...my if this is worth it? Seems a bit pricy for a California of that age.

As the crank sensor pick up is in the rear main seal have I messed up aligning the seal? Should the centre of the oil seal align with the blind hole on the crank end rather than 180' opposite?
...parts on the market, stick with OEM.
Normally I remove wheels and take to the tyre fitters as the competition factor often means they are time monitored and don’t bother with a torque wrench.
You are more likely to have some success with a T bar using torque applied evenly at 180 degrees.
...your dealer sell you the part, when i enquired they told me it was only available as an option on a new van. The glazed bulkhead on the brochure is about £180....... but they were willing to sell me an aftermarket Motexion bulkhead for £500. They don't call them 'main stealers' for nothing.
How many 199’s were built v how many are problematic? You only hear of the ones that go wrong.
Could be less than 5%??
My mate has a 2010 180 bi-turbo. Ok it had a EGR valve done at 80k miles but is now on 200k miles and still pulling like a train.
Pays ya money, takes y chance as they say...
