Evening! TSI DSG content

Hi there.

Should have done this sooner but hey ho.
Found my dream van in Summer.
Tsi DSG Kombi, full power doors and tailgate, comfort dash, Caravelle door cards, black lower dash, Captains seats, Golf Mk7 R steering wheel, LED's etc.
Bought it Saturday from Oop Norf 'ish
Drove it back Sunday
Revo map at BMVS Monday
Brand new Solows fitted.
Swapped my Vossen VFS1's and my Ap Racing 380mm brake set up with Pagid rs29's over from my T5 (sold).

Then drove 2500 mikes through Europe, van was faultless be it crawling through traffic in 30'c + heat or blasting down the Autobahn at 140mph+
If you ever get the chance to own a tsi, do it...

So more midlands than north then!!

All relative I guess - an ex work colleague from Alnwick always took great delight in calling us Tykes southerners.

Well, there is a waiting list for the inoculation jabs required, translation service subscription to be taken out (Google Translate doesn’t stretch “t’up north lingo”) and borrowing a shivering whippet to tie up outside t’dealers!

Anyhoo, there’s a TSI coming to a nearby ditch soon, I hear!

Made it to a Dyno day at the heartbreaker that is Surrey Rolling Road.
284bhp/325lbft
Very pleased as my van runs a Revo stage 1 map and I also have the sps module.
Running on Tesco 99 fuel and apart from a modified airbox everything else is stock.
There was a BSR custom mapped Tsi there which made 276bhp but had alot more hardware mods than mine Intercooler exhaust etc etc.
Hopefully I might get my downpipe gutted and Intercooler fitted soon.

Bit more done to the TSI today in preparation for big power in the near future...
Pre-cat gutted , cheaper option than having a custom made downpipe and van still passes emissions with the main cat in place.
I did the same mod a few years back on my Mk5 Golf GTi.
