Wow, they look amazing @coullstar Any spacers fitted or straight out the box? What tyres? Do they do them in black?

    Spacers

Sorry to highjacking.. Is it really worth spending £200 on H&R spacers when you can find comparable options on eBay for just £40? As an engineer, I'm aware of the differences in materials and tolerance classes. Wouldn't measuring a budget set before installation ensure they perform just as well...

For Sale H&R Black Line Trak+ 15mm Wheel Spacers Hubcentric & Black Longer Bolts w/locking £200

I’m not an authority so you need to do your own research, but the way I understood it the longer bolts make up for the difference in aftermarket wheels and adding 15mm spacers, which I had. And you also have. Plus 5x120. So I believe this would fit.

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

The driver's seat has no elevation adjustment and was just too inclined so using longer bolts added spacers, these from my Magpie collection of bits.

Are you running a 15mm spacer on the rear at all?

Navis Chopper and Ludis - look awesome if your suspension is broken….

I've run spacers for years on cars and not noticed any discernible increase on other components. This is 9in et45 with 15mm spacers on the rear for 9in wheels and 265/40/20 tyres. Sits spot on IMO.

    255/55/R18 or 235/55/R18 Tyres for a T32 4 Motion?

Great thanks. Did you have to modify the spare carrier at all? Does it still tighten up to the 2 black spacers if that makes sense? Cheers

Found 15mm Hubcentric Alloy Wheel Spacers

There's a strong possibility I've got a new set of h&r spacers in the garage. I'll take a look tomorrow and drop you a pm if so.

18" JBW ROK Steels + Falken 235/55/18 tyres: will i need spacers?

Larger spacers are available which can be bolted to the hub and then the wheel bolts on to the spacer. Obviously, in this scenario the wheel bolt length (edit. "thread engagement") is limited by the thickness of the spacer so typically you won't see that type for thin spacers. If I recall, 15mm...

They look right - have they got spacers and what size tyres are you using?

    Help!!! Wheel Rubbing

Do your rear rims have spacers on them as these may be causing your wheels to rub on the arches? Sending images of your wheels from the rear of the van will help anyone diagnose the issue.

Thanks. Does the van ride much differently than the Amarok Steels? What size tyres did you go for?

Navis Chopper and Ludis - look awesome if your suspension is broken….

Thats not the whole story, its much more complicated that that. For 1 spacers will increase the distance from the wheel bearing increasing the moment on the wheel bearing therefore increasing wear.

18" JBW ROK Steels + Falken 235/55/18 tyres: will i need spacers?

Ah yes gotcha, that makes sense; above a certain thickness the length of the bolts would get silly and it’s probably stronger to split it up… so perhaps <20mm is bolt through and >25mm is two stage (enough space for the first stage bolts to be hidden flush inside the spacer)? cheers
