Trying to install some custom speed camera POIs.
Installation fails because there isn't enough free space. It suggests I delete unnecessary files.
But which ones and how?
Installation via SD card won't work for some reason. If it did I guess I could leave the SD card in the unit with the POIs on...
...Thought they suggest max is 64gb but I find I’ve run out of space when I’ve got parking monitoring on which seems to save protect every file. Frustrating that can’t seem to group select files to delete. So it’s either select individual files and delete one by one or format the card completely.
Interesting. I’ve had an EGR delete and a mild over tune to 150 on my 2016 t6. (Euro5) and I have had a pretty amazing 102k miles in it. I would like to try and get another 102k!
It feels a bit lose and although nothing is wrong and I never get any dpf warnings but infeel like some preemptive...
Hi
I suggest a complete reset, Bluetooth delete on unit and phone then a fresh connection, also I believe Kenwood have just released a firmware update that may be worth doing.
Don’t forget the poor head unit sits there , and your phone has constant updates
Why do the EGR delete and remap in the 1st place?
What issues did you have?
(Not getting in to the whole legality of running a modified emissions system)
Had to have an EGR flush last August (£405), 13 months later & VW are now stating that's the same issue I'm getting the engine light show again & are asking £595 to resolve it again. Am I to assume an EGR delete etc would prevent this from happening in future ? Thanks
Hi all, I'm just having a new engine and turbo fitted because of the dreadful egr. I wanted to blank and map out the egr and leave the dpf alone but been told I've got to do both as it will kill the dpf. I've heard that the dpf still does its regen even if the egr is blanked out. Is this true or...
When I ran b14s I had the fronts all the way down and removed one of the adjuster rings on the rear. It sat lower at the back than the front so you should be able to do this rather than go for adjuster deletes.

Just spent thousands on van, what's another 1000
Now deleting myself from this forum
I looked into the insurance implications and if you do the dpf delete your insurance will be void as the vehicle is no longer deemed to be road worthy, even if it has passed an mot.
Yeah I won’t be paying anywhere near that, I’d just get one and change it myself, I’m thinking more now just to get it deleted, only problem I’ve had with the van since I got it 5 years ago has been with the adblue system, rather be without it now I think
I've put all my eggs in one basket and had the EGR deleted and blanked off as the way of preventing disaster.
Also, I do an oil change in between services, so always around 6 or 7k, never more than 7K, in the 40.000 miles that I've done in it.
eg:
DPF delete:

When buying the DPF Delete Pipe on its own you will require a custom ECU Remap to erase any fault codes or engine management lights. We will not be responsible...
