Yes believe you have to map the DPF out, will do this when they delete egr and remap the engine.

So my van has a Pendle remap. The EGR valve has died. The garage says they could just do a delete but it’d need mapping out but they can’t do it as my van is already remapped. Is there now way round this or do I have to get a new EGR?

when you had the AB deleted, what did they do with the DPF? - open up and turn into through pipe? and have you still got a working EGR?

Normally done when a major component of the AdBlue system fails requiring thousand(s) of ££'s spending on it to rectify. At which point a lot of people say "OK - £250 or so to code it out please" at which point the van thinks it doesn't have an AdBlue system at all anymore. And runs like all...

I've just been querying the same thing... Had a similar response from dark side but a bit cheaper. (Presume as it's a 150 CXFA) "The EGR Delete Kit would need to be installed, we have it listed here - £185.00+VaT - VW Transporter T6 2.0 TDI EGR and Cooler Delete Kit Fitting Costs - £300+VAT...

Hmmm.... but the DPF and EGR were deleted? Catalytic converter still in place? I guess the smell is only engine idling (would be difficult to sniff otherwise?)
