Suspension needs sorting for a more comfortable ride you're not going to manage that even with balloon tyres. :geek:
Again, 18" wheels 255 45 tyres and H&R coilovers with the underslung water tank being the limiting factor.
Just remembered 20mm spacers on the back and 8.5" width all round.
Remember though as you don't have commercial tyres you can't do 95mph in the outside lane 12 inches behind an Audi estate while shouting down the phone!:laugh:
Just spent an hour or so replacing the front EGR pipe after that decided to break last weekend.
The pipe had come apart from the "bracket" at the EGR end, which resulted in a flashing coil light, and (eventually) EML.
As others have said, the last bolt is a git, as it's virtually impossible to...
Hello everyone. I'm a new member so apologies if this has been discussed already.
I'm in the process of converting my T6 Sportline in to a family camper. My pop top roof and rock and roll bed are booked and ordered which is exciting. I've purchased a bluetti AC 200L for my power. The reason for...
Just on this, tyres all fitted fine, but invoice states ‘customer wanted car tyres on his van’, besides the passive aggression, I presume the point is just not ‘commercial’ rated as a couple of you folks have suggested. I just don’t want to invalidate insurance or anything or obvs be doing...

It looks like I had two issues - the fuse in the fuse board for those interior lights in my van was a 7.5 amp fuse but every other diagram of the fuse board has a 15 amp fuse in there. The second issue was that the new LED bulbs I had put in are polarity sensitive & I had put them both in...
I found COSTCO difficult to deal with. Wanted 2 x Michelins for Audi Q5 fronts. wouldnt fit them on the front said they had to put on the back, read this before but not convinced of the logic but ok.
so their next rule is that the tyres they will now move from back to front have to be matching...
Reviving this thread since we now have a new addition to the family (baby girl is new, dog is our first baby)
Our van has no fixed seats in the back; and standard double bench in the front.
We’ll be looking for a car seat (non isofix) that fits and hopefully still have someone sat beside...
