Footwell lights not coming on

Hi
I have a 65 plate T6 Kombi conversion. We have footwell lights on either side but they don’t come on when the sliding doors are opened. I’ve had a closer look and there is wire there connected to back of light. During the conversion LED lights were installed in the ceiling. Does anyone happen to know if these get blocked off or any advice regarding fixing them ?

Actually those entry lights come on when the van is unlocked, or any door opened. Thus the same operation as other interior lights.
However, they are on a separate circuit wired through connectors under left seat (green connector) and right seat (grey connector) - thus wiring not directly related to wiring/lights in the ceiling.
Do the interior lights in the cabin come on when the van is unlocked or any door opened?
Fuses related to interior lights: SC5, SC19, SC20.

Thanks for the advice. The plastic footwell came out quite easily. Fuses were fine, just needed new bulbs. Working fine now

I'm having this issue too. Bulbs are good in mine. Checked the fuse in under dash cubby & replaced it so that fuse is fine.

Where are SC5, SC19, SC20?

This may help, I'm looking into the same problem right now, although mine's LHD.

It looks like I had two issues - the fuse in the fuse board for those interior lights in my van was a 7.5 amp fuse but every other diagram of the fuse board has a 15 amp fuse in there. The second issue was that the new LED bulbs I had put in are polarity sensitive & I had put them both in backwards. Maybe this helps you too hopefully. ☺️
