Apologies, bit of a monologue here but I also wonder if this is just circumstantial. My van is parked never so slightly on a gradient where the passenger side front wheel is marginally higher than the driver side rear. Could it be that the angle means that water just can’t gravitate towards this...
Just an addendum to this. I’ve just tried pouring water down the window with the door open and I can’t see that the water is coming out the bottom of the door card so maybe the info in my post is misleading. If I close the door and pour water the build up in the step still happens. Maybe water...

Hey guys. I know there’s been a few post on here about water coming in to the steps of the cab. I’ve got a similar problem and have read through as many of the old posts as I could find but coming up short.
So I’ve got water building up on my passenger side step. I thought it was the rubber...
It can certainly be recovered as a DIY project. There are a few clips on YouTube of people repairing very similar damage.
One might question the integrity of the remaining lacquer so you'd have to weigh up the risks.
One example here
I noticed that a Google search for Autohaus Factory currently brings up Tottington Motor Company's details:
Makes me wonder if maybe TMC are planning on rescuing the brand...

Like the LED Head Lights but HID would have been preferable, which are superior in many ways IMO. Do not trust or use automatic setting prefer to use manual adjustment of what lamp to use from DRL to Lighting up...

Hi guys -
I bought a little car for my wife to encourage her to learn to drive, it’s about 15 years old, I was washing it yesterday for the third time since buying it at Christmas and there must of been some severe chips in places and the jet wash has got under and lifted the clear coat, is...
All in all very much down to personal preferences. As a high mileage user as well as doing a lot of towing my brakes don’t get a chance rust!
Drive safe
I quite like my hand painted steel wheels and Falken tyres
But the whole package i am more connected to as maybe because i have done all the work myself baring the engine work/replacement, and transmission servicing.
Or maybe its the trips we have done in it? Camping all over the place, Corfu...
If I remember correctly by reading some of the posts on the forum, they'll try and do a certain amount of EGR cleans before replacing it (probably hoping that your warranty runs out before they have to replace it).
If you burning oil, that might result in a certain amount of clogging.
How much oil?
Hi all ( great forum ) so I have had my 2018 T6 204 DSG 77k miles about 4 months now, the engine light has come on , code = P0401 egr insufficient flow. I. Know this has been covered a lot so apologies . I do have a warranty wise warranty so hope that helps. My question is - do I push to get...
I think the point is; for what victron provides it’s definitely the better option but if you remove that functionality from the Sargent then what is left is still a very neat package which I don’t think is readily available elsewhere as an off the shelf solution. There are plenty of examples on...
I can’t remember exactly, but I know I had two smaller gauge wires that went to and from same place. Think I remember replacing both with bigger gauge wire.
I’ll let someone else who knows offer insight though! Good luck
