What’s your favourite thing on your van?

I quite like my hand painted steel wheels and Falken tyres But the whole package i am more connected to as maybe because i have done all the work myself baring the engine work/replacement, and transmission servicing. Or maybe its the trips we have done in it? Camping all over the place, Corfu...

Newbie in Norfolk with EGR problems

If I remember correctly by reading some of the posts on the forum, they'll try and do a certain amount of EGR cleans before replacing it (probably hoping that your warranty runs out before they have to replace it). If you burning oil, that might result in a certain amount of clogging. How much oil?

    Sargent or Victron set up?

I think the point is; for what victron provides it’s definitely the better option but if you remove that functionality from the Sargent then what is left is still a very neat package which I don’t think is readily available elsewhere as an off the shelf solution. There are plenty of examples on...

    Brake costs

Indeed, nothing wrong with Brembo (if it's genujne), but people get moist over the name when in reality the performance is no different to any other mid price OE equivalent. Personally I'd choose Delphi-Lockheed discs over Brembo, if only because they Geomet coat their product so it's much more...

I’ve never had any issues with Brembo brake components - OEM or aftermarket they are all excellent products.

    Brake costs

It's made India. The blanks come from the same foundry as Delphi-Lockheed discs. It's all decent enough, but nothing exciting. People get needlessly excited over the name. Only the exotic small-volume-high-performance Brembo stuff is manufactured in the EU, but they're canny enough not to ruin...

So reading through this thread, the rear EGR is best removed/fitted with a long 1/4 spline, is this what we’re taking about? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115373630296
