So many options out there for you
Wash wise I use Bilt hamber snow foams
As for paint protection I tend to go down the geyon can coat ceramic coating lasts about 12 months pending how good you maintain your vehicle.
I then top this up with their ceramic detailer as a drying aid after...
CarPlay screen
CD slot mount
Power cable
This has power in the side also ! I run the cable from a usb in my top dash, can’t see anything from the drivers seat though. Obvs it ain’t no Halo 9 but but I’d only use that for CarPlay anyway
Harley carnauba wax paste, smells great, a bit like new bread but importantly leaves behind a decent layer of embalming wax to hide the haze and fine scratches associated with the tough life of a Transporter driving road warrior.:geek:
Agnes Brown, the best VW colour, you shiny beauty.
Chemical Guys
Sam’s Detailing
EZ Car Care
JennyChem
Hydro UK
Etc
Which ones are you using?
I’ve used Auto Glym for ages, but it’s quite expensive.
Lots of the above are all over social media and they promote hand pump foamers and pre wash applicators.
There are also some adds you see for what...
So….I attempted to make a single large ply panel for the rear section above the wheel arches. I only had the stock bottom section for a template, so I had to wing it…..and ended up cutting it too short!
I’ve decided to go two panels instead and have done the lower half.
It just got me...
I spent an hour laying underneath our van again today trying to suss where our oil leak is coming from  ....
Cleaned every trace of oil off the engine bay and underneath and the belly pan is staying off so I can see exactly what is happening more closely .
With a new pump or the old one? I understand even if you have a new one and it’s got damaged from an incorrect install it could be knackered.
FWIW the one I just took off was perfect when jacked up, but when down on its wheels there were similar issues you are describing.
Yes that is correct. I will also check this again when I carry out further tests as you mention below.
I will do this tomorrow and let you know how it goes
I have done exactly what you have stated above but I am still getting vibration towards the end of full lock both ways when the wheels are on the ground. I have now steering power loss at all and it is completely smooth when the wheels are off the ground.
That’s nice! Do you remember which one it is please? Also how did you fix it? I’ve ordered a few now but they all have cables on the side which ruin the look. Thanks
Some more work done as job-searching and money allowed. I have re-upholstered the headliner and A-Pillars but kept some original pieces for contrast (all subjective and don’t care if others don’t like it lol).
Few pics of before/after and progress
I’ve loved working in this lovely van. And...
So nothing happened in the boxed value (Group 008 value 4)
Just to clarify - do you mean that when tailgate status is "OPEN OPEN" the value
in green box ALSO changed from "not oper" to "closed" ???
and
in red box - from "not oper" to "active" ???
Asking because in my notes the green...
How did you get on in the end with this? I have the same issue but it's only started since I had a problem with the high pressure pipe bursting on the drive belt. Only ran for a minute with low oil. New pipe, new oil. Flushed with 4 litres of oil but still vibration and small shiny bit in the oil.
"van walk" on A14 :slow rofl:
So if you saw too happy guy, enjoying every minute spent in his new toy, smiling and waiving to every single t5/t6 on a road .. it was probably me :grin bounce::waving:
