    102PS Remap Issue!!!

REVO only stopped the remap on the 6 speed. I have the EU5, 5 speed 102ps with a REVO stage 1 to 140ps, and it's been flawless.

    T6.1 110PS - remap?

Hi All, Have searched the forum and am struggling to find threads relating to remap options for my specific engine (5 speed manual, 110ps). Has anyone had theirs mapped yet? Any guidance is very welcome! Thanks Simon

    102PS Remap Issue!!!

As above, speak to the company that did the remap. Give them the opportunity to put it right or remove the map and reimburse you.

    102PS Remap Issue!!!

Hi guys, I had my T6 remapped two days ago. Van was registered (November 2015) it’s the 5- speed 101hp model. I had it remapped to 177hp by a reputable remapping business. Today the van has been revving up randomly and even when in neutral to 2500rpm. It’s over revving up wildly and really...

Remap Pros And Cons for 84PS

Hi folks, Just bought an 18 plate t6 84bhp 5 speed. I have a local Pendle agent 5 miles up the road in Runcorn. I’m looking at getting stage 1 done which will take it up to 155 Do these models suit the remap? Been reading lots of issues with the 102’s but looks down to a dodgy remap? many...

Stage 2 tuning for 102PS TDi

Friend had a Euro5 102 remapped and was definitely advised 5 speed gearbox was the weak point. I think 160bhp was the max figure advised to him. 6 speed they would take to 170+. On the 150 bhp 6 speed I know Revo and Pendle quote about 190 to 196bhp. I keep looking but haven't taken the brave...

    Twitchy Steering on high rev

@VanDamMan no bud its a 5 speed manual, T28. But has had a pendle remap ( 102 - 162 ), Not sure if it matters but I'm also running 20" wheels ( which have been hunter aligned ) This is also mid drive, second and third gear mostly, i guess around the 4000 rpm range for a split second, but...

Sold T6.1 17” wheels and tyres to go

Cheers for that! I'll check with insurers (do people inform insurers as a modification? Brentacre BTW), and whether it would be bad news to go from 215 to 255 on a remapped 102, 5 speed. Hadn't noticed the tyre diameter earlier.

Newbie on the lookout, what's too much?

I believe Revo have stopped offering maps for the 102 over issues with the turbos.

Newbie on the lookout, what's too much?

I do love the colour, looks really smart :D in terms of remaps, what are people's experiences mapping a 5 speed 102? Budget in current market means that 102 for a T6 seems to be the compromise, so a Pendle remap is definitely on the agenda if I don't manage to source a 6 speed. Not in a rush...

Newbie on the lookout, what's too much?

A simple remap with Pendle/revo etc will get you over 160bhp so I wouldn’t worry too much about power, only concession will be though that it may be a 5 speed rather than 6 speed.

Exactly, its certainly going to need a bit more go when its got everything installed. You're bang on, the diff in the 5 speed is weaker than the 6 speed (as is the clutch) so its important that any remap has a progressive torque map. The Avon Tuning remap takes to 150-160bhp with progressive...

I can't remember all the details but there is a place local to me that does them and my bf had his t5 done there and it was great, I think 150bhp rings a bell, but I'm sure it was much cheaper than £500.....I believe it was around £200 bit don't quote me haha!

Yeah like u say, throw a load of camper furniture in the back and i think it may suffer. Believe the remap has to be done to suit the 5 speed so gradual power/torque rather than a massive dump on acceleration. Looking at a pendle remap as they seem to be the go to. Think its £500 ish and states...

These are pics of mine with the glass in now Yeah I agree, sets of alright for a van, once it's got all furniture in etc I bet you will feel it needs some extra pulling power! PS. Here's pics of mine with full glass in for the guy that was asking previously

Yep restricted to about 74 on the speedo, I only found out the other day, I’ve been pootling too much trying to get good economy :) I’ll be getting a remap and restrict or removal by Avon tuning once the vw warranty runs out. However I have been pretty surprised, the 84bhp feels ok. It’s slow...

102PS with 2 Turbo Failures - was re-map to blame?

99% sure, I’ve asked the same question a few years back, I’ve been told by far more knowledgeable people that they are identical in every way except the software. I believe they are down-tuned from the factory, so bringing an 84bhp up to 140bhp won’t be an issue at all. Going from 84bhp to...

    Camper Engine - Size Matters?

I have a 140 6 speed manual T6 mapped to 175, I have posted on here before, I find 6th gear too high, I wish it were slightly lower.
