    T32 DSG 4Mo Staggered 20” Tyre Pressures??

Thanks. That what I was thinking. Not sure why new tyre place put 57PSI in the front! Just had shocks and springs done at CRS Performance - Koni's and Evo springs - much better than before

T6.1 Tyre Pressure Monitoring System Activation (Indirect TPMS)

...no pressure measurement is taken from the tyres Direct TPMS - This uses a sensor inside each wheel to directly measure the current tyre pressure and temperature and displays these values inside the vehicle, a drop in pressure in any wheel/s will trigger an alert on the instrument cluster and...

    20” alloys - how’s the ride?

You’ve already sorted the suspension. The ride on 20’s will be great! Just get the tyre pressure right. I’ve used 17,18,19 & 20 on my van. I’m currently on Navis twin with 255/35/20 tyres. My advice is keep the tyre diameter as close to original size as possible.

    1st mot & failure

Roundabout tyre wear is very prevalent in nearby MK, land of the high speed roundabouts, but its usually the NSF that cops then worst of it as that carries the highest loads on a right-hander. As the chaps above state, get your geometry checked and keep a close eye on your pressures. Don't pay...

I have finished my convertion from Panel van to full camper. The last job was the wheels. Purchased direct from Wolfrace online. TPMS valves & tyres fitted. Came well packaged. 2 miles down the road and the pressure cam up wrong. Changed the tyre size in the infotainment system and Hey Presto...

    Tpms

On my 22/6.1 it comes up with an error on the screen if the tyre pressures change. You just press 'ok' if you are happy with the change. 'Are you sure?'. 'Yes' I tell it. Then we both look at each other weirdly for the next couple of trips to make sure each of us is really sure about it.

    20” Tyre Pressure

Yeah totally agree. I checked mine and was at 47 or something stupid. So dropped it to 40 and loads better.

    Devonport tyre pressure?

what I meant was if one was to have an accident and lets say recommended tyre pressure was 58 psi and someone forensically looked at the accident and discovered the vans tyres were only inflated to lets say <40 psi .... would this open a can of insurance or culpability worms? will give you a...

    20’s any regrets?

I have a theory that before I bought the van it was sitting in the forecourt for too long on too low pressures… it seems to be the original tyres that were on it when bought that are failing.

    Ravenna T28 Project

Currently sitting on 275/40/20 wheels and tyres (which are nearly dead) plan to wear these out and get some new better rubber for the winter but dropping to 265 wide. Also dropper pressures to 38psi all round and works really well. Last pic os before and after

18 inch wheel tyre size dilemma help please

Welcome to the Forum. I'm not going to tell you what tyre size is "best" on an 18" rim, there are several options and opinions. I use 235/55/18 Michelin Cross Climate 2 all season tyres and here's why; It's less than 4% bigger in rolling circumference to the size of the tyres it came out of the...

    Alloys and Load Ratings

lol, no kPa is kilo-Pascals - units of (in this case, tyre) pressure!!

Is the T32 a boneshaker even when well loaded?

I have a Westfalia club joker high top camper based on the T32 Lwb Highline 150 dsg. It rides better than the T28 based VW Californias I have owned before despite the extra height. The factory fit 17in wheels and tyres are okay but I may well consider wider tyres at lower pressure when these are...

    Devonport tyre pressure?

...for me about 5 months back and to be honest was hoping for slightly more significant improvement in ride and wondered if there is any advantage in reducing tyre pressures but as other have said is there then a trade off with tyre wear and possibly even insurance issues in the event of an...

    20” Tyre Pressure

I’ve found the tyre pressure makes a huge difference. 40psi improves the ride dramatically.

Sold Devonport’s on Goodyear Vector 2 All Season + TPMS.

I’m sure I have read somewhere on here it can be retrofitted. Of course you need to start with the tpms in the wheels.

    235/55/18 Tyre pressures

Another tyre pressure question… Van is a T6 T32 Kombi, 2WD, 200hp with DSG. OEM tyres are awful 215/60 R17C 104/102 (commercial tyres). VW recommended pressures are 57/48 psi F/R unladen and 58/58 psi laden. I can’t find a load/pressure chart for these commercial tyres but the narrow pressure...

    MFD MPG Lies

I have compared the odometer with GPS tracks and the difference is less than 2% The fuel volume will be calculated from the duration of each injection event, the common rail fuel pressure and temperature, so possible factors could be sticky, clogged or leaky injectors or faulty fuel pressure or...

SoLow Air Suspension Coming Soon to The Van Cave

Sorry, ignore what I said, I shouldn’t reply on a Saturday night when I’ve had a drink! I read “the pressures I’m running” as “tyre pressures I’m running”! Sorry.
