So you don’t see anything about the ad blue on the mfd until it drops to 1500 miles left? Then a prompt pops up on the mfd?

Well, I had the engine software update done at the VW main dealers today,I asked about the ad blue vouchers and was told “No, we don’t do those”. They didn’t seem to know anything about them.

...rung VW for advice on recalls etc, because I assume he can see this being pricey ( no reply of course) I've only had the van for 18 months, had two full services, timing belt change at 70k / 4 year old. I add ad blue but never coolant. ( I was asked if I might have put ad blue in coolant tank)

Pretty sure Ad-Blue is Ad-Blue. I always buy the cheapest.

I’m pretty sure that is the case. The non ad blue are Euro 5.

When you deleted the DPF, did you physically remove the guts of the DPF or just delete it in the software?

Hey @dannyc81 , was it new in '24? The adblue tanks were bigger on the later 6.1's. Mine is a 2020 with a smaller adblue tank.

Bit like me, slow to wake up in the morning. Many a story of that 650 mile warning on here. I wouldn't worry too much now...

Wouldn’t you be better with a funnel and bit of tubing exiting under the van somewhere or plumbed into the ad-blue tank?

Hi all i am new to this forum as i have just became the proud owner of a 2019 T6 edition that was converted into a camper van , i have yet to pick it up from dealer but i was wondering if anyone could tell me if it uses adblue.

So. I’ve did drain it, left it for a couple of hundred miles. Topped up with about 8litres, left for 30 seconds, took it for a little drive and still the same. It’s gonna go to a garage and see what’s up. If it doesn’t pan out, is it worth doing a ad blue delete, thoughts?

Further to my earlier post (quoted above), this is just to update the Ad Blue position with my van. It has since done around 2000 miles and the MFD tells me there's an Ad Blue range of 4000 (5000 - 2000 = 4000, I don't think so!). I mentioned the above to the dealer yesterday when it was it was...
