Excellent point. My van is fully converted so probably explains why 40psi feels much better. It’s so noticeable I can tell when the tyres need topping up.

I have a theory that before I bought the van it was sitting in the forecourt for too long on too low pressures… it seems to be the original tyres that were on it when bought that are failing.

I’ve found the tyre pressure makes a huge difference. 40psi improves the ride dramatically.
