...an egr delete done and approx 6 months later I began to have a range of adblue sensor faults and the dreaded countdown. I ended up deleting the DPF along with adblue. I am considering putting the dpf back in place without the egr for engine longevity and better running. I would have also put...
...a possibility - at least a contributing factor - especially if the power loss didn't happen earlier.
The ash mass is a calculalated value for DPF lifetime expectancy - it's assumed that at 110 g it's all finished.
However, I'm more concerned about relationship between soot calculated and...
The most noticeable moment for passive regeneration is immediately after DPF regeneration has finished (either at 9.00 or 6.00 grams of soot calculated) as the DPF is still hot enough for a few minutes - the soot level still decreases some time and eventually starts climbing again when DPF...
Per AXD (5-cyl 96kW variant) engine workshop manual AXD doesn't have DPF.
Also wiring diagram for AXD engine doesn't have G450 exhaust pressure sensor suggesting no DPF.
Before my T6 I had T5 & AXD engine and definitely no DPF.
However, DPF was onboard on T5 BNZ engine (also 5-cyl 96kW), from...
That's an interesting idea. I've been watching the DPF values with Carista, it's been doing regen every 400KM or so when it gets around 30g of soot, it'll then drop to 6-7g of soot and reset the counter. It went into permanent-limp just before it was about to do a regen so quickly got to 35g of...
Thanks. How many miles you have driven?
Do you think if the DPF filtering matrix has been removed or is it still in place? The data somewhat suggests the engine can't do proper DPF regeneration.
22 plate / 150 / manual / 2wd
Got in the van earlier today and decided to have a quick look see before going home on the state of the DPF on the Carista.
It said 29.1g soot / 87 hours and 299KM since last regen.
Thought I would keep it plugged in for the journey home as I had never seen what...
I had the same dpf code a year ago. Reason it says it's missing is cos the two pressure sensors are not noticing a difference in pressure as the dpf fills up before regen ( one before and one after dpf) mine had broken down so big hole inside so all gas going straight threw. Mpg was amazing...
2017, it’s done 117k
I’ve had it since new
The V-bank clamp fixing the cat to the DPF pipe is sized solid too, think I can just about get a grinder in there to mutilate it into submission
The two bolts holding the DPF to not support bracket have sheared
Afternoon all,
So I have tried tried to fit a new DPF to my van but I cannot get the old sensors out of it. I suspect as its a fail DPF they are well and truly welded in there.
The DPF I have managed to get does not have any of the senors on there, it is bare.
Please can anyone point me in...
Just wondering how many of these vans are 4motion?
I was helping a mate with a LR Evoke issue and was reading about DPF issues, and they were saying that the dpf is too far away from the engine to get hot unless on bigger distance trips. I have a CFCA 180 4m with a new engine, turbos, DPF and...
Currently investigating oil loss and paid for oil consumption test CXEB engine 204 Sportline registered February 2018 . Also lumpy start and occasional stall after engine is hot.
