DPF Regen Until Soot Level >8g

Although - went through a pretend checkout and the sum went up to 552Zl = £110
Think that was just to make me feel better.

@Graham Jones
That took a few minutes to find.
Seems to be a niche product.
So - does it work ok with the default settings for you or did you have to change the beep thing? What engine have you got?
Sorry for late reply,, night time down here...I didn't have to change anything. Just plug in and run led light wire. Handy to be able to know how much soot is there, just by 1 press of button , then counting the bips...1 bip per gram. I am sure you will be happy with it.
Any questions I had were answered by CreativeOBD. Cheers

Update!

I don't see enough updates with resolutions to DPF issues, so thought I'd post one!

Decided to fork out on a garage that specialises in DPF faults. They diagnosed one of the temp sensors was throwing up crazy values and throwing off the ECU. It was showing 700c one sec and 100c another. Been replaced now (can't believe how much OEM temp sensors are..) and had a DPF removal and clean, to start fresh. They did a couple of road tests and showed me the data, regen is a good 15-20mins now.

Hopefully that's the end of it and I can start enjoying the van finally. After thousands down on this (and other tlc since purchase) it's got some serious making up to do!

Thanks all for your helpful advice.

Reading back through your posts you mentioned the DPF wasn't getting hot enough when driving so wondering if that sensor was affected by the vehicle movement.
Did they give you a part number for the replacement sensor?
Great outcome and brilliant to see you posted back. Nice one.

I checked, but it's not on the invoice. Will shoot them a message and check
