So been planning this for combination for a while (and I realise it isn't everyone's cup of tea) but keep changing my mind. Decided now I'm going to go through with it and put some AT tyres on the devonports, if i like it they will be ideal to keep on for winter.
The van is lowered on B14's...
I'm considering running my new van with its Devonports with AT tyres through the winter.
Anyone running these and if so what tyre size are you using. Are you using spacers?
Cheers.
Hi,
I've got the original T6 Highline wheel setup at the moment but I'm thinking of getting 245/65/17 BFG KO2s on some new Wolfrace 17" wheels.
Will this affect the ride/handling much i.e. more wobble/lean when going round roundabouts?
Is it worth getting an anti roll bar fitted? I'm just...
Hey all,
Looking for some guidance on Tyre sizes.
Am down in Australia now and steel wheel options are limited for the Transporter.
I am looking at the below rim in 17" ( Cant find any 16" that will suposedly clear the brake calipers)...
I have a T32 T6 that I want to put BF Goodrich 245/65/17 on the standard rims. It currently runs 215/60/17. Has anyone done similar? Just looking for success stories really? Thanks
A quick thread so those searching the tyre size can see what they look like
These are BFG KO2's
Wheels are VW with ET55.
Van is a Shuttle T32
Spacers will be added once they arrive.
So I have some 7" wide 17" VW wheels with ET55, These are just in being powder coated ready for some big ole tyres.
I have gone for 245/65/17 BFG KO2 tyres.
I am thinking about adding some 25mm spacers front and rear. Would I be daft in doing this or is this something I should 100% be doing?
20” wheels off and original VW suspension back on. Black Rhino Warlords (17”) and BFGs. Great ride quality and very pleased with how it looks. Elite Wheels and Tyres - super company, great service and good wheel selection.
From my research to previously very helpful threads, it looks as though 245/65/17 BFG’s will fit with the standard suspension on a T6. I’d like to fit 255 or possibly even 265/55/17’s. As this relates only to width, I’m hoping there shouldn’t be an issue and that someone’s fitted tyres that...
So my BF Goodrich All terrain tyres are here waiting to be fitted and I am expecting my speedo to be slightly out etc, but was just wondering if the winter tyres functionality on the menu on the van does anything to calibrate the speedo?? Just wondering what the option is there for it not...
I have just had fitted some wolfrace wheels with general grabber tyres along with a few other bits and bobs and my MPG has plummeted!!
I’m a proper fairy foot and was getting 43-47mpg on a run, now I struggle to get past 33-34mpg?
Can this be purely down to the tyres/wheels?
Hi, newbie here so please forgive if I have missed an earlier response on this - I have searched the forum.
I have 18" wolfrace Eurosport aero's fitted which came from the camper conversion company with budget sports tyres. The tyres are wearing fast and are useless on grass/mud/snow.
I'm...

Hi anyone know what sort of pressure should be for BF Goodrich A/T ko2 tyres 225/65/17 on a T32 will be loaded at times driving to France?? Cheers Paul
I'm thinking of raising the van a little and fitting a more aggressive tyre, I'm sick of getting beached and stuck in muddy fields.
Has anyone fitted anything like a BF Goodrich All Terrain or General Grabber AT2?
What has it done to your fuel economy, ride comfort/noise etc?

I’m sure a few are confused about the heading but yes I want to try fit the largest all terains to my t6 which is lowered on h&r 50mm springs. I would have put them on standard but van wouldnt fit in my garage. Currently running x6 wheels but don’t like the fitment (should have got b14s).
So...
Hi does anyone run on 235/55 r18 instead of the usual 235/50 r18? Because they are 12.7mm more in diameter, I wonder if they look like swampies or whether the difference is not noticeable. I appreciate the speedo will under read by 3% but is the gearing noticeably higher? Cheers
