I decided that I wanted the bed positioned as far back as possible, and with the bed frame bolted to the chassis cross members. There are many different ways to do this installation, this is my way, it may not be the "approved" way.

im after buying a 112cm 2 seater rib bed but I've looked on a website and it looks like you actually lie on the back of the bed? Does the back have a soft matteress on it or will i need to buy a matteress for it ? Seems lot of money if i have to buy something to lie on aswell?

Exciting times... I'm finally pushing on with the process of getting my Kombi ready for using as a 'day van' in the summer... It's already insulated and lined (by Leighton Vans) but I'm yet to do other bits. The next step is heading down to 'Forty Winks' tomorrow, to have a Kombi Bed fitted...

Can fit 2 of either of these side by side in rear if needs be. Pack down tiny too.

to get the rear 2+1 seats in a Kombi to recline fully?, or whether they are purely fixed in a single seating position? i have looked through the forum, but cant find anything on if its possible? many thanks kris

I'm looking to make something similar to this set up although it needs to be light enough to remove easily & not quite as fancy - just a bed frame which flies over the wheel arch with some storage room underneath for my bike kit. Anyone on here made this set up or seen one with a MX Bike alongside?
