Best / cheapest way to get to France in the van end of May and closet campsite to city centre

This weekend will be our first weekend away in the van and weather is looking good! We are in the midlands and trying to decide which coast to head towards. One theory was that Easter may be a better time to head to Cornwall but my fear is with a balmy Easter weekend millions may think the same...

Really good to see so many Transporters of all ages as you walk round the site. As for the site it’s self! It’s stunning only been here a few days but can’t fault it, great facilities, lovely food and more importantly a well stocked bar.

Just spent 3 nights at Niffany Farm, a great little site of you want to visit the beautiful town of Skipton. The sites next to the Leeds - Liverpool canal, so you can use the tow path as a traffic free route into town, only a 20 minute walk.
