I'm going to put my own bed in place in my Van. It came with a pop top, but no bed, due to a shortage of struts in the UK for beds.
I'm just wondering how long most pop top beds are.
I actually wonder if they aren't all somewhat different lengths, due to differences in each brand of pop top...
Hi All,
Looking for a set of roof panels the hardboard type from a SWB T6 need a template for drilling my old ones seem to have gone with the rubbish. thanks in advance Eddie.
Im after a halo roof for my t6 lwb, been looking at this one from eBay, just wondering what lights would be needed to fit in the slots, and also how would they be wired up to existing wires from the old headliner. Thanks
Morning all, does anyone off the top of their head know how much longer the front piece of ply for the roof needs to be to make up the gap left by the bulkhead? Cheers
I’m looking to add some lighting to the underside of my pop top bed and I like the idea of having a illuminated VW emblem in the centre with spots either side but don’t want nothing cheap and tacky looking, has anyone got any ideas or links to possible products used before or come across?
Hi everyone,
I've seen some old pictures of a starry night ceiling which I think looks really cool and the kids would love it. However I wanted to know if anyone actually had it and what they thought of it?
Also, does anyone know how much something like that would cost, how easy it is to...
I have seen in magazines the underside of camper beds with a graphic finish, woodland scene, night sky, maps, etc.
Anyone know where you can get them from, or installers, please?
Hi all, very new to this and need a bit of advice!
Bought a 2016 T6 last week and the seller assured us he had fixed all the little problems with it. Turns out, he hadn't fixed any of them. One of the lesser problems is the ceiling panel above the main compartment - it's hanging off with a load...
We currently have a van in our workshop with a HiLo roof fitted to it. We don't fit these so dont get much of a chance to get up close and personal to them but having spent time around the roof and van over the past few weeks we couldn't help noticing that the carpeted bed board and cab closure...

I managed to break a couple of the clips that hold the trim strips between the roof panels. I’m trying to find suitable clips to replace them. Can anyone tell me if these are the right ones (all the info only says T4 or T5) or point me to where I can get the right ones please. It is the...
Have just removed the bulkhead and the front section of the roof doesn't sit under the removable strip that in the cab area. Theres a gap.
Is there a wider strip on a Kombi? Or is it a new roof panel ?
Thanks

Hi, I am part way through my conversion and didnt want to go down the pop top route. Has anyone installed a halo roof I think they are called? Goes just below the roof lining. Just wondered if you made your own and how you attached them?
I want to fit a better roof lining for my T6.1 LWB Kombi rather than the standard hardboard, but I don’t want carpet, something more like the front roof lining.
Any advice on alternatives and where to get it from please.
I have seen somewhere a sliding panel which will slide across the very large gap at the front created by a pop top. Does anyone know where?
I find it far too noisy for phone use, the radio and can’t hear the kids in the back due to wind noise at 70mph (ahem) on the motorway on my ‘van with...
I’ve seen a Union Jack displayed on the bottom of the pop top bed roof, in essence the new ceiling of the van.
I’ve ordered my pop top roof, are the coverings available to retro fit, or do I need to spec this in now before the roof is fitted?
Cheers
Ollie
The journey begins...
