do the chrome strips on this grill come off? Wanting to remove all the chrome. Black wheels arrive tomorrow

I just got a square metre of Matt black vinyl from my mate, I used a strip to wrap the chrome strip in the grill. If anyone wants a strip let me know.

Hopefully an easy question or so I thought as I asked 4 people in the VW dealers who couldn’t tell me - what is the difference between one and two chrome strips on the grille?

does anyone know a company that supply upper/lower and grill trim in other colours? Can only find red or green on the web. Don’t really want to go down the body shop route and not confident enough to attempt to wrap myself

How does the chrome trim on the grill come off? I'd like to either spray it black or replace it with a black trim, does it just clip off?

Has anyone seen this yet? Vision Tech Automotive showcasing their replacement grille with a 230v socket built in behind the VW badge. Brilliant idea but, at £400, I’ll probably not.

Hit a low flying bird yesterday and the front main grill is now cracked and damaged. The VW emblem went missing but managed to find that... So wondering what options are out there for a new grill? Links and pics would be great

I have just purchased front and rear bumpers and trims to upgrade my startline to colour coded bumpers, does anyone know where the best/cheapest place to get the upper grille section between the headlights ? Thanks In advance

Pheasant strike this morning...could not avoid it on the A1...feeling gutted and frustrated. Advice best place to purchase new upper radiator grille..also lost the VW logo. Are they easy to fit?
