‘open door’ alert

Hello everyone and greetings from Spain I promise to congratulate you on the forum since there is a lot of information and it is great. I would like to ask a question if someone can help me because I am desperate. I have a t6 2.0 tdi 150 ps and my problem is the right rear sliding door that warns me that it is open in the instrument panel, today I replaced the lock with a new one and everything remains the same, the door opens and closes perfectly but It marks the open door and does not even turn on the indicators when closing, I have checked the connectors because I also have a left side door and they do not give a fault in the other door, the truth is that I am unsuccessful since with the new lock I expected everything to be solved. thank you very much for all your help

It could be a bad connection, using this diagram, test the circuit.
find the connection block under the front seat and look for the green/black wire and ground it and check the display if it sees the door shut.
then move to the next connection point and do the same. Also check the earth connection point (2)

Thank you very much for your answer Loz He's been in the morning looking at the connections under the driver's seat and I haven't seen any bad cables. I've also looked at the connectors under the right front seat which has three connectors and nothing. I don't think the second new lock is broken !!!!! maybe some fuse !!! the truth is that I am desperate !!! last week big bill for the egr cooler, also now the clutch ringing a lot, the dual mass, and I don't see a complete kit Luk is a van for the transport of people in wheelchairs and I have to use it a lot !!! sorry for telling my troubles with VW and thanks again!

..maybe what I suggested got lost in translation?

The door signal is only generated by the lock mechanism if you have a highline model (not sure what the equivalent is in Spain ?) with a factory fitted alarm
If you don’t have a factory fitted alarm the door signal is generated by a door pin at the rear of the door on the C pillar, check to see if this is present and if it is you can adjust it out a bit to make better contact

If you can’t find the green/black wires under the seat connectors, or as @Pauly says, you don’t have the door pins, you need to troubleshoot the lock switches with vcds that can tell you the switch status.

Hello friends, I hope the translator does his job well. Thank you very much for your help. my t6 has double rear side door and the c-pillar connectors are the same turning them 180 degrees so I checked on the other door and they work fine. Thanks for suggesting the vagcom I had not thought about him, you know where you could look at the module, I say. I also check the connectors under the seats and the green / black cable and I did not see a fault thanks again for your help!

Google Translate is your friend! International relations are healthy on this forum!

Hi

I know this is an old thread......
I have the same isuue, rh sliding door. My vans a 140bhp 2016 highline. But I don't know if I have factory fitted alarm!

Would you happen to have a pic of the rear c pillar door pin switch? Is it well hidden or quite evident? The door open warning is like a dripping tap, beginning to pmo, but I can't afford vw dealer prices!

A UK highline model will have a factory fit alarm so signal is generated by the lock in sliding door and transmitted through the contacts on the b pillar
