10th April road trip to oxford , operation caravelle rails

Who, what year was that 1953?.
WHAT!!!! Try 1997. 2nd year uni, oh them was the days back in the student union, Tuesday nights after all the sports teams had played their respective matches (basketball for me). All the great late 90's music, and the ladies hockey team OMG. If you thought men's rugby teams were bad they had nothing on those ladies. Oh the memories.

Go to bed early well 10 ish wide awake at 2.30 might got up at 3 its going to be a long ass day i think:eek:

@andythom188 Well you just go steady at work, things go wrong when your tired. Really bad things, like you put coffee in with your tea bag.

I know what you mean about banging my swede on oak beams. As we have a lot of quaint little cottages in this part of the world, the amount of times I have been in such for chimney fires is significant. I'm tall enough but stick my helmet on and that adds even more inches. The problem being is you forget, so bend down the normal amount to avoid banging your head, but it's not far enough so end up compressing your neck. Hurt myself a few times like that.

You would be no good working with me then as I've compressed my hard hat onto my head a few times and in a short ass or i like to call it vertically challenged:D

Yep, I've just done mine inside and out. Although have to drive to Pwllheli tomorrow and back on Sunday, really don't reckon it's gonna stand up to any inspection. Plus since I have to go to work for a meeting on the Monday morning, not even sure yet whether or not I'll be in the car.

You might be driving past my home town if your going Llangollen way.
