150ps 6speedgear box vs. 150 mapped 5 speed box

Hi all
I am new to the forum so any advice would be much appreciated.
I am looking for a camper and i am trying to decide between two. One is a factory highline 150ps with 6 speed box. The other is trendline 5 speed with 150ps remap.
Obviously the factory version 6 speed is best but the problem is the other is £3k cheeper, has 40k miles opposed to 80k miles and has lots of extra add on's such as diesel heater, awning, towbar, pioneer head unit, led headlights and updated front.
Any thoughts please
Dither dither.

So the cheaper van has less miles and has led headlights ?
What about the other stuff like A/C , captains seats ,cruise etc ?

I'd be very surprised if they were OEM LED headlights.

If you can't decide and it really is 50:50, maybe it should come down to something as silly as the headlights.
If the non-LED van has H4, go with the LED van unless the LED lights aren't self-levelling, then go with the other one, unless the other one has H4 and so it goes...
Or just wait for another van that tells you that is the one.

It’s a big investment and if you can’t decide it’s probably neither- hopefully you’ll know when the right one comes along.

Thank you all. Great advice. We've decided to look at a 3rd today to add to the mix. Does anyone think prices will drop off in the colder months? And if theyre levelling off or dropping a bit after the big spike during covid?

Personally, for forecourt standard newish used vans in dealers - I've seen the prices go up about 5% in the last 6 months. Don't know if winter will reverse that trend.

Check out the potential issues with a remapped engined and the “weaker” 5 sp box. The 5 sp is possibly used on the lower powered engines for a reasons and not just for “cheapness”
