Hi guys!!! In a quandary. Bought a 6.1 for work ( builder) and can’t make my mind up as to go for 19s or 20s. Are the 20s as harsh as people claim, would 19s be a happy medium between style and practicality. Will be dropping it on coilovers enough to make her look sweet.
Problem with 19s is that there are very few tyre options. I'm on 20s, 60mm drop, coilovers, now (new van 2 weeks ago). Ride is good(no body roll etc) but definitely 'firm'. But it does look sweet ...
Not any good ones yet but need to take some, will post some a bit later. It's a Bognor Motors van so it's their suspension setup on Bilsteins and 265/40/20.
.Previous T5 was on 235/55/19 with Eibach 30mm springs drop and the ride was significantly 'softer' though with more body roll.
I did drive another 6.1 on 20s while I was looking which was just lowered with springs (wider tyres I think) and the ride was very crashy, didn't like that at all.
There is a better supply of tyres for 20’s. It all hinges on what suspension and what weight rating the vehicle is. . We have options for both wheels and suspension if you want any advice - we offer mail order and fitment on site.

Oli @BognorMotors definitely knows his stuff ... Mine's a T32 4motion manual by the way, nothing in it at the moment as I'm messing about giving it more insulation and putting leisure battery and stuff in.
