Is there any background story?
Did you try to preform basic calibration/settings in VCDS for this module?

i got the van at begining of march, heater control didnt change temp only got warmish, aircon doesnt get cold
so had it regassed and checked for leaks
scanned it with a clone vcds(showed nothing)
got a new control panel & still same
bought a genuine vcds (should have done this in first place)
scanned and came back with these faults
calibrated flap which completed ok

Hey!

Just did some quick searching and found some threads:
Here the guy suggested he forgot to plug in a connector again. Might be a loose contact/not plugged in connector? (the open to short plus error)

In another thread (but in Dutch) someone said the fault with the calibration went away after playing around with some basic settings and switching contact off and on. Not immediately an idea but it might get you started?

As they are both relied to the flap motor I suppose there will be one solution for both, and that might be a bad contact (unplugged connector)...

If you start the car and switch on the airco, is the airco pump working? (driven by the motor belt)

Been a while for not having it fixed I believe :) but you never know!

In case you have a problem with this, too, there might be some info in this thread (similar problems, got solved):
