First Time VCDS User

I have replaced the stock head unit for an Alpine, so wondered if that might cause some of these?
Most likely, yes.
You could try to rectify by removing the OEM 5F-Infotainment from Gateway Installation List, and replacing it by more universal 56-Radio.

VCDS > Auto-Scan > Gateway Installation List
Untick 5F-Infotainment
Tick 56-Radio
Save, exit VCDS
Cycle ignition OFF - ON
Rescan to see if the situation improved

Well. Then just untick the 5F
Done that and course the error no longer comes up, thank you. Now just left with the one fault. Probably nothing to worry about but would love to know/understand what is causing it.

Excellent result! Jumping.gif Thank you for the feedback!

I'm afraid the fault will be there forever. The A/C obviously expects to have some communication with Radio/Infotainment which currently doesn't happen.
Please keep eye on "Fault frequency" - to see if it steps up along with ignition cycles. Just curious to know....

The priority "6" of the fault is very low thus no action required.

Yes that's what I thought in regards to the level, so not worried. Thanks for your help.
