Right ladies and gents bit of advice needed.

As said above I’m not desperate to sell as it’s not costing me nothing but am really surprised this hasn’t gone.

Is it just a bit of a ropey time to sell?
Is it because it needs tidying up?

So I’m now thinking do I do some work to it to help it sell and will I see my efforts rewarded at the end?

What’s peoples opinions please

Do I tidy up the bodywork and alloys and have a nice tidy standard kombi?

Do I lower it and get some bigger alloys and maybe carpet and insulate the rear to make it more appealing to the mass market?

It’s such a good van and never let us down and would be a great base for a conversion.

Thoughts would be much appreciated!!

Don't think there's anything wrong with your van @Chippie1, especially at the price. Vans, much like houses, are just sticking more at the moment (not helped by that cheery chappie, Chairman Starmer).

I'd avoid spending on bling (alloys and the like), as the wrong choice could deter more people than it attracts. Given a good history, the sort of things that would put me off a van would be bodywork dings and scrapes, so I'd address that sort of issue if your van has any. Other than that, hang tight and hold out for a discerning buyer.

I messaged you a few weeks back but unfortunately your a bit far away for me im in Cumbria, but if was closer i would have been for a look. I wouldn't lower it or put big alloys on , even tho thats my thing its not for everyone..having good history with proof of services is a biggy for me too..GLWS

I wouldn't do anything to it. I'm guessing that it's down to price v age v mileage : that unfathomable equation.
I too am interested, but as I mentioned, when doing the research using various valuation sites, there is too much of a gap presently.

Appreciate the comments as regards to price it’s hard to gauge when I look for comparisons you can barely buy an ex RAC/AA with high miles for the same money I’m asking.
I’ve recently sold my other T6 ok it was 2017 euro6 just shy of 90,000 same interior layout but no leds or twin slider but had sportline look to it, had people chewing my arm off before I advertised
Sold for just over £21,000

mods are so personal I would think leaving it all OEM would be best for selling on.
Addressing the few cosmetics could be worth doing, people are inherantly lazy (sweeping statement I know sorry) so potentially dont want to buy a van and then go and get it done as not all are familiar with good body shops and the process etc etc. Of course lots will be, but likely to put some people off.

Its a great spec van and I would hold out

I’m surprised this hasn’t gone. Certainly be something I’d be after if looking currently. I don’t think I’d anything mod wise just if anything do the tidying up as mentioned. It would be nice see it go to a member on here and get converted etc. but have you advertised it elsewhere? Would make a cheap airport and in general taxi for someone? Good family car aswell

Yes it’s been on local gumtree and auto trader I’ve also done the WBAV and motorway was pleasantly surprised with there valuation but would rather it went to an individual really.
It is been a great reliable van just needed a change.

I think it’s fairly priced, all that’s putting me off is that it is a T30 otherwise I would I have contacted you by now

A little rant I suppose ( not aimed at anyone on here )

I HATE selling cars I’ve had so many
What’s your best price
What’s the least your take today
Can I pay some now some in a later life
Will you swap for my ford mondeo etc etc

Not one phone call

Where are the good old days when you used to pick up the blower have a conversation and go and stand in front the car have a look around and have a good old haggle and generally drive away thinking you’ve had a result.
Not aimed at this OP but I'm getting a bit weary of unrealistic pricing of some vans for sale on the Forum.....
In a world where its easy to get valuations, research similar vans for sale, it seems to me some folk may be trying it on.
Just my humble opinion and I don't mean to offend anyone but if it's not selling, and limited interest.....its likely you're aiming too high.
