204 dsg hissing noise from underneath

as above really, my t30 204 dsg panel van unnoticed this morning has a hissing noise at idle from underneath, almost sounds like gas is escaping from the exhaust. Anyone else got similar?

Fuel pump and adblue pump.

So sounds like a normal sound then? I didn't have it on my 2015 t5, but that wasn't adblue...

I have heard that, did wonder if it was the adblue pump as it was coming from the tank area.

Could it be from the additional heating for the engine. I hear it also on mine

My fan always kicks in after about 10mins.. even if I just pop down the road..for instance today, the Van was parked at clients house from 0830 till 1500, I drove 3.4miles and got out to fan going full pelt.. dont this loads..

Is that common?.

It's the DPF regen, they seem to do it regularly when new, after 10k mine seems to be settling down now

Did this ever sort itself out @Kev?
Mine has started doing this today, but it's a hissing sound when you rev it up, or your on the throttle, it's coming from the rear of the engine, and almost sounds like either the exhaust is leaking, or somethings blocked. The best way to describe it, is the noise your exhaust would sound like if you held your hand over the end for a couple of seconds as the engine is running, if that makes sense.
