204PS Kombi for towing a caravan?

Hi I have a t32 204 dsg and it pulls my twin axle 2000kg caravan fine, tho I did have it remapped to around 240ish bhp just to help it a bit more lol @Spitfire

sorry to jump in,what remap have you had?
Will be towing my caravan with LWB 204 4motion when I get a tow bar on,if it is like my T5 180 that pulls like a train,passed everything on the A30 coming back from Cornwall

I was looking at that , but, payload under 1000kg so not in commercial class

It doesn’t need a remap buddy it’s fine as is I just had it done as it was in for a service with @BognorMotors and thought why not!

Is this the Revo software?
I also want it just because and it leaves a lot of boy racers standing at the lights

Yes it is, when I first had it done I must say I wasn’t overly impressed but a couple of months in and she is a ripper! Proper flys and defo has a load more grunt for towing

@BognorMotors can give you plenty of info on it, can’t say much about pendle have never looked into it tbh, but my revo map feels very factory

Can’t wait for test drive, just looking at colours now,

Just make sure your test drive van has a towbar and hook it up to your wagon and try it out

The 204 tows beautifully(In fact all Transporters do). My old boat was near on 2 ton, and the van would tow it effortlessly, and returning approx 24MPG. A re-map would only make the whole process easier!

Nice outfit . Getting my tow bar fitted to my 204 4motion DSG on Thursday. Thinking of getting the Revo remap too.
