Hi,
Just tested fitted my new wheels having run 20s and 17inch Devonports on it at this height I'd assume I'd have no problems. Appears not to be the case, touches arch liners before full lock and barely get a pinky in between tyre and arch.

I'm guessing the only way is up... abit?

(Excuse the filthyness!)

Up is the only way to go here I'm afraid.
Interesting as I too like these wheels and am running 20s at the moment 255/35/20 tyres. I think with a street tyre, you could drop it back down, the heavy tread on the grabbers is whats filling the gap here. Like the look of the ATs though. Raise it up or remove the liners (I removed mine to drop it lower on the 20s)

Maybe worth checking the ET of the wheel? However the standard tyre profile for an 18 is 235/50/18 or 255/45/18. If you want a high profile tyre then go down to a 17” or raise the height.

Yes think raising the coilovers a touch will be the way to go. Just thought this size was quite popular for people from reading the forums but maybe not as low as me!

Yes I think up abit, I love the look. I was running 245/35 and 275/35 on the 20s when I got the van but tyre tread got low and I realised they weren't load rated anywhere near.
Yes I did debate a street tyre but the ATs do look smart haha.
How much do you gain removing the liners? Any anything else to worry about once removed? On almost full lock the tyre is pushing on the liner. Also concerned if taking a sharper corner and hit a bump I'll damage the arch lip?

There's quite a bit of space under the liner, and I also found that the liners don't really do anything and I only removed them as they rubbed very lightly on full lock (they worn a little slit in the liner about 4 inches long) Like I say I run 20s et40 offset with 255/35 tyres and lowered by 130mm on solow coilovers so well inside the arches and never hit the edge of the arches even on full lock. It does depend on your overall wheel+tyre dia and wheel offset. Those wheels look spot on though with those tyres.

Ah ok that may be an idea then. Might gain me a tiny bit more room.
Got any photos of yours? I'm on solows. Van was wound fully down with locking ring removed for extra lows when I got it. Had to raise it abit as couldn't get on my drive or local speedbumps!

This is mine. Not quite fully down About 130mm drop with adjuster deletes. Sorry bout the photo. Just hung out the window and took it.1000013458.jpg

Did you manage to sort this out? Looking at using 235 55 18 but a road tyre

I did not. Currently still sitting in my garage! Need to find the time to do all 4corners up at once which is proving difficult.
So i fitted the 235x55x18 onto van last night and im only getting a very slight rub over speed humps so hopefully the arch mod will sort it

235/55/18 is our go to size for the chunky off-road 18" wheel look - They are around 4.5% over size from the standard tyre, so plenty of room - With the correct offset they work well.

They would rub on Solow LOWs - you’d need a 255/45-18 to work with the LOWS. Be OK on Solow NSL at a medium to higher setting.

HTH
