I'm trying to find some info on tyre pressures for a set of 255/45/19's and was hoping that someone running on 19's could help with suggested tyre pressures?...

@Walski @RattyMcClelland I believe you're both running on 19's? :)

Thanks Paul

I was advised running 55psi on my 255/45/19's, but it didn't feel right on the road, so dropped in 5psi increments, until I found 45psi seemed to be the sweet spot for me. I do more miles than most and been through 2 sets of tyres at this pressure with no detrimental effect on tyre wear, so i'm sticking at this.
Lastly, i'm on a T32, with a consistent load of around half what they are meant to carry as a maximum.

Hi guys, I’m running 255/45/19 tyres on a lowered T6, what psi should I be running the tyres at! Not carrying big weight as it’s used as a family vehicle? Van picture attached for reference

HI, I have a T6 with full camper conversion, running 255/45/19.
It normally runs with 2 adults and a big dog, ideally what pressures would be recommended?
I'm currently set at 46psi front and rear?.

46 sounds too high (from my reading on this forum).
This is a great thread. I know it references 20" but mentions all sizes.

Yes, I did wonder if 46 was a bit too high?
I've had a read of the thread you recommended and it was very informative, however this is mainly aimed at
20" wheels.
The guy at Bognor Motors sound very knowledgeable, would he be able to advise me for the 255/45/19 size?.

I’ve merged your thread with a similar one, as the earlier posts may be of some help - as 19” wasn’t an OEM size, it does seem to be trial and error though.

You’ll have to put the @sign before a members name if you’re hoping to catch their attention.. ie:

Hello. We don’t do anything 19” , but our 20’s we run at 36-44. So run the 19s at slightly higher pressure . Maybe 40-44. And check tyre wear periodically.
