3.6mm Or 6mm Ply Lining??

I'm quite happy for the clips to be visible if I go for the 5.5mm. Although no clips looks smarter I think.
Its just weighing it up.
Do I want 3.6mm with hidden clips but not as much strength for fixings. Like shelves, supporting kitchen etc.
Or the 6mm with clips on show but have higher strength for fixings?
If anyone can vouch for the 3.6mm being strong enough for fixings then I would pick that.

Could you glue thicker ply to the back of the 3.6mm ply to give you a better fixing point?

Yeah that's a good option too. The main bits that I thought would need the thickness is the side wall area where the kitchen typically goes along to help with securing the units.
